Handover was awesome today. Gus stocked up the walk-in and we handled the staff meal crunch easily. Gus worked out the kinks for a dope new Wicked cocktail. I scrubbed the white sugar trough inside and out, and ran the lid and scoop through the dishwasher - she's sparkly and ready to be refilled tomorrow! - IP

BAR Staff Observations: 

Miguel is such a hard worker. Very communicative and will to help out. Really happy he is part of the team -GS

Patrick and Darius worked really well together in the lobby tonight. Bryan and Jeshua likewise upstairs. While it wasn't crazy busy tonight, there were still several bumpin' service pushes - not to mention steady foot traffic at Trees and in the Lobby - and both duos were really on the same wavelength tonight. Ya love to see it. - IP

We have 5 full Cab Franc bottles in the house - no backup.

We have roughly four quarts of Princes of Maine stocked between both bars. We don't have enough Giffard Vanille de Madagascar for a full batch - but four qt should be enough to last a bit. - IP

Prep List:

I made a Margarita batch. The line was full of separated margarita, I ran it. and added it to the batch. I'm going to mess with it on Tuesday. I'll do the math, but what I want to look at is look at the volume of the batch, minus the lime, and taste the separated lime on its own, figure out how much we need to add in to reinvigorate it.

Maintenance: 

The elevator/grease trap has a really foul smell that has been well documented. It seems to be spreading to above the lobby bar. Maya made this very known to me multiple times. -GS

The men's room in Trees had a major issue tonight. Around 9 I was alerted that the small urinal in the bathroom was leaking - I went in to find quite a flood on the floor. Markenson made quick work of the spill and taped off and covered the small urinal with a trashbag. It was fine for about an hour and a half when around 11:30 Darius told me the floor was flooding again. I squeegeed all of the excess water into the drain, and mopped afterward - and subsequently closed the Trees men's room from about 11:45 on. After I mopped, I laid a bunch of towels down underneath the leaky urinal - but it appears as if the middle stall was also leaking, judging from where I squeegeed the majority of the water. Wyatt moved this to top priority on the maintenance doc. Bathroom should be checked immediately tomorrow by opener. - IP
