Manager Communication: Gab, Lydia, Bryan and Miguel fought through a huge rush after a piece of broken plastic from the Select bottle got into the ice well (at the time it was thought to be glass as if that matters), they burned the ice.  Very impressive turn around during a crazy push. Props to all the hard work. -LB

Tested my wicked cocktail and it is good to go, just need to do the cost breakdown tutorial with Gus on Tuesday.-LB

Lauren made the transition from day to night service seamless and easy. Everything was well prepped and we were all over coverage for family meal and the gauntlet of nearly sold out 1's and 2's. Overall it was a pleasantly busy night and everyone was up for the challenge. - IP

Customer Comments: Had a guest this morning who brought in a folding bike and when Matthew asked her to put it on the landing, she refused.  When I spoke to her, she said that she had brought it into the theaters here "all the time."  Rebecca explained that if that was the case, it was a lack of oversight on our end, and that the bike, even when folded, could not be brought into the theater.  I outlined her options of  1. lock the bike up outside, 2. or leave the bike on the landing.  She opted for a refund, which I processed. JH

BAR Staff Observations: The red jiggers are a different size than the others, so I am going to put in some more bell jiggers.-LB

Frizzante had lots of air in line today sputtering about. Curious if there is a solution or if we should just have a carafe there to catch it when using it. -LB 

FOH Staff Observations: Morgan was on their phone in the service pass at Trees during the busiest moment of the night. I asked them to stop and had to do it twice. She gave notice according to James and Wyatt but it still is not cool to be in a tip pool like that. -LB

Hiring/Training: The new server Rachel is great. Tickets are all rung in clearly and efficiently and she asks the right questions. Good work! - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

In relation to the folding bike incident in Customer Comments, could we get some signage explaining that bicycles, scooters, strollers, etc. are not allowed in theater, as we will definitely be getting an influx of families in the coming weeks.  Just something by the Filmbot terminal, so that bartenders can direct guests to that instead of having to call for an MOD. Guests with strollers are always welcome to ask for assistance getting it up to the landing, so that may be helpful to add, too. JH

Prep List: Miguel batched what was needed today. We needed to make more American Pie blend.  Ian will put in freezer and will need to be strained tomorrow. And the American Pie batch needs to be finished out-LB

Batched an Autumn g & t and a Margarita. Ian showed me the charging so I am totally cool now. The empty keg of Autumn G&T wasn't rinsed or open so it was somewhat putrid when I went to put the Margarita in there. -LB  

Autumn G&T Keg is charged and ready to go. Fat-washed rum is sitting, Jack Torrance-like, in the freezer chest at bar prep. - IP

Over/Short on Banks: Trees Lounge bank was over $9 - IP

Pay Outs:

$17 (used from a $25 payout) -  5200 FOOD - IP

Lost & Found?: A pink satin-y bag containing a box of fancy tea and a water bottle and some other items was left at Trees Lounge - placed it on desk in office. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

CWD dropped off three kegs of Pinot Grigio instead of Frizzante this week.  I let Gus know and he reached out to our rep, who said they can do the switch Tuesday.  I just hooked up the last keg of Frizzante around noon, so stock should be fine until we get the new kegs. JH

Maintenance: Word on the street is maybe a check-up for the coffee/hot water machine in Lobby and perhaps trying to repair the one in Trees going into the cold weather season. 

If someone can contact Coca-Cola and have them come fix or replace the gun in the pit at Trees Lounge. It is leaking syrup and it is causing a sticky mess in a high traffic service area.-LB

Filmbot Issues: A family trying to sit together at Venom had trouble exchanging tickets so  they could all sit together since an extra ticket was needed. We sold an extra ticket and had them sit together after telling servers. Dwight is helpful in Lobby with filmbot. -LB
