Manager Communication:
Smooth hand-off today from Gus to me. Gus stuck around to help cover the bars for family meal and then we were off to the races for some big Anora screenings, and even a pretty busy Venom crowd. We had a plethora of fun to-do's today in Theater 7 and James, Carly, Jared and I made a formidable team and got everything handled with aplomb. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
The team got off to a bit of a discombobulated start re-organizing after family meal - mainly because of glassware arriving right at crunch time, and some post-meal shuffling of stations - but once we established the flow with Gab at the pass, Patrick providing backup at the taps and Brian handling guest-facing, we settled in and everything was silky smooth from the 6p Anora on. The first floor was also bustling. Lydia and Jeshua did a great job in the lobby, keeping their composure and the drinks flowing even for the short instance when Filmbot went down. Kudos to a great team tonight! - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Barry and Sabrina were excellent support this evening. Along with Erika, they were always right there whenever a tray needed to be run. Also a HUGE shoutout to Vlad for absolutely throwing down on glassware today. We had some pretty tight turnarounds that could have led to some very warm glassware, but Vlad jumped in and ran everything through AND resupplied lobby bar without me even asking him to. Awesome job, Vlad! - IP

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
It was brought to my attention that Jeshua is often very quick to radio for a manager at the lobby bar for things he should have the ability to do himself. Perhaps we could go over some of the protocols for ticketing / policies so he feels empowered to make those decisions and do those duties without feeling like it isn't his purview. - IP

Prep List:
We went through a TON of Old Fashioned, so first thing when I get in tomorrow I'm going to make a large batch. I'm also going to make some more Bloody Mary mix. - IP

Pay Outs:

Maintenance:
The drainpipe on the sink to the left of the Theater 1/2 Service pass at Trees is almost rusted through and leaking pretty profusely. I put a sani-bucket underneath it today to keep it from puddling under the recycling slimjim, but without something catching the run-off, it gets very soggy. Also, the floor drain under the sink to the far right of the bar prep area is extremely slow to drain, and if the water is left running, the excess water does not drain fast enough and the whole floor of bar prep and underneath the brunch lowboy get flooded pretty badly. Just needs to be unclogged. - IP

Filmbot Issues:
Filmbot crashed for about 10 mins today, but Nathaniel, Carly and Wyatt got the problem resolved very quickly and efficiently. - IP

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
