Manager Communication:
Trivia had a great turn out but not as large as recent weeks. Outside of Trees everything was pretty mellow. Spent most of the day checking maintenance issues at both bars. -DL

Cleanslate was here when arrived and fixed the dishwasher at Trees. He said it was not pulling solution even though another tech said it was previously. All the glassware was coming out nice and shiny today. -DL 

Special Events?
Trivia had good vibes tonight. -DL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
Five Boroughs stopped by to drop off some samples and a pricing sheet.  Will loop in Edgar for potential menu draught line swaps. JH

New table numbers arrived.  Put them out on the tables for Trivia tonight to help out the runners. JH

Ruby NA. -Contacted Ruby Wellness once again today in search of our missing shipment. No word back as of yet. -DL 

Prep List:
Should make Cotton candy grape syrup. Everything is in a cambro in the walkin. We could make it due to the issues with the induction cooker towards the end of the night. -DL

Maintenance:
The soda machine at Lobby bar began to make a consistent noise that caused some concern. It sounds as if it's trying to pull Co2 even when not in service which is usually a sign the filters need to or will need to be changed again. This seems pretty soon as we just changed them a few weeks ago. I just used the last backups to change the filters at Trees last week to solve the ice machine and hot water issue so I had to order a few today so we should keep an eye on the sodas coming from lobby bar until the new filters arrive. -DL

The induction cooker made an intense noise when trying to make Grape Syrup and then restarted twice after displaying and error for E1. After looking up what this code means and how to fix, the solution was to turn off the cooker and allow to fully cool off. After cooling off leave off for an extended period of time before using or reset the circuit breaker for the outlet it is plugged into. I currently unplugged and left it off but if this does not work then it's a circuit board issue within the machine causing it to not register the pot on the cooker keeping it from heating up. -DL

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
