Manager Communication: 

Cinema events dominated the first round in regards to sales, and then second round mellowed out around the building.  Third and fourth round ticket sales steadily grew throughout service. JH

Last round of TH1 had an issue with tickets around the beginning of the rush. No tickets were printed for the initial rush and it is hard to know/calculate how long nothing printed for. The servers caught notice after several guests made complaints. I did not get an exact number of how many were not made but they expressed "a lot like between 10-20 tickets." I was at Tree's at around 9:50-10:10 and there was a big ticket push happening. I guess that was after the situation. Servers guessed that it could have been that we needed to change the printer paper but that was not the issue (We had plenty) and then I suggested that maybe we were off sockets for a moment. They said that that was not the case either. I honestly do not know what it could be. I spoke with all the servers but still do not know exactly what the problem is and they told me that this has been happening from time to time... Does anyone know what it could be or how we can fix it? - AB2

Customer Comments:

Some guy came down from TH4 or 6 around 6:00 or so saying that the pretzel dawgs were not pretzels. He was expecting pretzels and said he ate around the bread and just ate the hot dawg part. He said it was false advertising pretty much and was not too happy. I personally think this guy was an idiot... I have NEVER heard this complaint before... I gave him 2 passes... He had already paid... I don't know... I told him they were wrapped in pretzel breading and I feel like I could have explained to him what pretzel breading is but I just did not feel like that was the right move because I do not think I could explain that without making him feel stupid. Any suggestions on what any of y'all would do/respond with. I just thought this was pretty nuts. - AB2

BAR Staff Observations: 

Really smooth opening at both bars this morning, and plenty of time to reset and restock throughout the day.  Natasha was able to catch us up on some batching once Miguel got in, and I was able to get Maya out of here once Natasha was back behind Trees. JH

Was able to get Matthew out of here around 6:40 or so when the downstairs rush was settled/Gabrielle felt confident to run solo for the rest of the night. I got Miguel out after the final round settled. With Patrick being new and having Jeshua in Trees it was helpful having the extra pair of hands for a smoother service. - AB2

FOH Staff Observations:

Rebecca was great running glass racks through when I was not around. Quetzie always kills it! Misha is just the dude. Erika was also killin' it. Just an all around good crew tonight on the server side of things. - AB2

Hiring/Training: 

Gus opened the building with me and Paul this morning, and then was able to shadow Jose for the first hour of Th2's first round service.  Once Wyatt got in, Gus shadowed him to see what an average floor manager shift looks like.  At this point, he has completed all necessary trails and is fairly comfortable with the flow of service.  He supervised service at both bars from about 3:30pm until the end of his shift, and had no issues keeping up with service. Prep List:

I batched up one Firewalk and one Lemonade to get us through tomorrow by the time I get in. We are good on everything else.

Maintenance:

The lobby bar has been a little stinking like wet dog/vomit types of smells in certain areas. Not sure what it could be. It was not the mats (whether bar or floor mats) or the drain or anything. I am going to check again tomorrow and see what's up. - AB2

That TH1 last round issue I'll put here but no clue exactly what it could be and how long it actually lasted. - AB2
