Manager Communication: 
Opened up with lots of guests for back-to-back seatings of CatVideoFest and ST&B, and the day kept up the pace from there.  Trees had a great crowd throughout the day, plenty of people hanging out after the special screenings. JH

Oh. It was a fun night. Between the fire alarm, the internet issue and several busy rounds happening all at once everyone worked like superstar and pushed through giving support to whoever needed. The FOH blog will have a lot more info of the night. -DL 

BAR Staff Observations: 
Bryan did a fantastic job down in Lobby today, handling ticketing without issue, and only ever called for help with regards to stocking glassware.  Natasha and Matthew navigated a very crowded bar and busy service pass, and Natasha did a great opening stock so they only needed minimal restocks before Ian got in and was able to get us batched back up on some product. JH

FOH Staff Observations: 
Took the note from the suggestion box and did not fill trays to their full capacity during service today.  Some servers were not the biggest fans, mostly leads and veteran servers.  I told them that when the service pass is slower, we can accommodate any tray requests, but when a bar manager is expo'ing, we do kind of need to keep the trays one way or the other.  

We can definitely keep this level of tray packing going forward, but servers will need to be more mindful about how often they're coming down to the service pass, as well as returning trays. JH

There's not enough space here for me to explain how amazing everyone was tonight rolling with the punches. Just know everyone on schedule deserves a token and a hug. -DL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
Both thermostats read at, or above, 80° by the time we got into the second round.  We have had success with running two of the blue fans at Trees to make that service pass and stairwell less clammy.  Not to turn Lobby into fan central, but do we potentially want to bring some quiet fans in house and place them in front of the bar, just to keep air circulating past the entry? JH

86'd Interboro due to a draught line issue.  More details in Maintenance. JH

Prep List: 
Got ahead on Simple Syrup and the Pineapple Blood Orange Syrup during the first round, and Ian was able to get a decent amount of batching done once he came in. JH 

Maintenance: 
The plant boxes around Trees have some small leaks in new locations.  One is right above the staircase to Mezz, and the other is by the hightop closest to Mezz.  We put a Wet Floor sign right in front of the staircase, and just made sure to clean it up once an hour or so.  Added to the Maintenance Doc. JH

The line for the Interboro needs repairs. The bobbin at the top and the connection directly into the keg seems to be leaking pressureso we are unable to connect the new keg to it. I also turn the gas off for the line to avoid it leaking and wasting pressure. Jenn has contacted Draft Choice but Interboro will likely be 86'd until Monday/Tuesday -DL

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
