Manager Communication: 
Had a steady ramp up to the start of service, as both large theaters had later openings, which really gave both bars time to set up for the very busy second round.  Once we got to 5:45pm, the bar had filled up with plenty of PSP folks, as well as other guests, and all theaters were either sold out or close to it.  The Olympics are definitely an excuse for people to hang around Trees after their movie, so it's been great having them on during service. JH

Both Trees and Lobby bar got busy around 6pm due to the rain and multiple sold out theaters opening up. Gabrielle absolutely crushed it downstairs solo as Tevon batched. Ian, Matthew and Natasha rocked Trees as Patrick gave the three of them support where ever needed. -DL

BAR Staff Observations:
Whole bar team did great. Gabrielle stands out tonight with a positive attitude, welcoming voice, and fast service. -DL

FOH Staff Observations:
Barnaby was a great support throughout the building tonight. No complaints just drink support being done like a champ. -DL

Hiring/Training: 
Patrick was an immense help tonight at Trees, especially during that 6:00pm-7:00pm crunch.  He was primarily focused on guest-facing service, as the bar was pretty packed, but he was taking orders, making drinks, and closing out checks without issue.  Already feels like a great fit. JH

Special Events? 
PSP filled up Trees Lounge again!  They were a big part of that second round service push, as both tickets and guests were nonstop for a while.  We offered them Athletic and the N/A Spritzer (renamed PSPritzer) for $5, and they were both very popular. JH

Prep List: 
I'll get some Strawberry Mint Syrup started first thing tomorrow, but we have enough in the walk in to batch some kegs to charge tonight. JH

Tevon was able to knock out a big batch list to get us ahead. Should look into making some syrups early tomorrow. -DL

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Baldor arriving tomorrow.  Stumptown arriving on Tuesday. JH

Order plastic tubing for the inner rim of the Trees ice machine cover.  It should arrive Monday/Tuesday.  I will be sure to touch base with Juan when it arrives. JH

Maintenance: 
We were informed they would be turning the power off for the entire block around 1am. It should only be off for about 2 hours but please check all product in the lowboys and frozens before opening to decide if it is up to par to serve. -DL

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
