Thursday 07.11 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication:
The keys for Lobby have reappeared but the keys for Trees are now missing. Think it's time to attach something a bit bigger to avoid them walking away so much. -DL

The new normal we should be anticipating is a larger Trees Lounge presence from now on. Even when ticket sales take a little dip, Happy Hour has picked up some momentum which we love to see. Crowds are coming back post-movie. I've been pushing back stocks and batches to adjust, just noting for how/when we cut openers. Jeshua swung upstairs once the gate was down in Lobby to support another full bar crowd. AB 

Mr. Downstairs is ready to go in the walk-in! The droppers are also made, on the Brunch Lowboy. AB

Customer Comments:
Had a group bee-line passed the bar and up into Mezz. I asked Dwight to keep an eye as well as myself. They ended up coming back down to order food. We checked upstairs a couple more times and everything seemed normal. Jeshua bussed Mezz before leaving and there were a bunch of outside cups and drinks. Not really sure how else we could have avoided this, but it's very disheartening to the bartenders. Ticket numbers are #J109 (Demaris Lee), #J106, (no name on file but a card number). AB
^ This night keeps getting worse. One of the girls in this group hid in the corner by the projection screen in Trees and threw up on the floor. I mopped it up. They were here for less than an hour, I don't know how they caused so much mayhem. Anyway, high alert for all groups that come in just for the pool table. AB 

BAR Staff Observations:
Matthew was flying from one end of the bar to another, he is so majestic. AB

Hiring/Training:
Bryan had his first training shift with Ian for a Trees opening today. -DL
Sat down with Bryan and went over Day 1 expectations, which he exceeded. Very adaptable bartender that was ready to jump into service head-on once he had his bearings/knew where items were. I saw him pour beers for tickets while greeting & interacting with guests - he definitely understands how to prioritize through multi-tasking. Tomorrow he will open Lobby Bar with Tevon - so he should be focusing on Filmbot, our age policy, directing guests, and walkie communication with MOD's. AB

^I printed out new Training Day Checklist sheets for bar and added them to the FOH Training Binder. Ian filled out his portion; I'm unaware if we collected any documents from Bryan yet, if Dana/Jenn can fill that info in tomorrow. AB

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
We cut Natasha's shift tonight due to numbers, service was smooth since STB also stayed relatively mellow. AB

Special Events?
STB went well as usual. Their QR code menus weren't showing the cocktails at first, so tickets finally started flowing all at once. Nothing Ian & Matthew couldn't handle. One note for next: make sure we grab Jarritos from the kitchen before service starts for Cinnamon Toast Man! Will need more Red Eye batch for next time as well. AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Serene arrived. We're back stocked up on Interboro. 
Winebow and Rockaway will arrive tomorrow. -DL

Maintenance:
Dio will be in Monday morning at 8am to clean the ice machines. It's been added to the maintenance calendar and Jenn will be in early that day to let them in. Just a reminder that the ice machine will have to be emptied and off Sunday closing. -DL

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
