Sunday 07.14 Ashley

Manager Communication:
Incredibly proud of our bar team this weekend. You could tell there's some burnout, but everyone hustled through every sold-out push, reset, and repeated. Longlegs is bringing in a drinking crowd before, during, and after. Miguel juiced for both bars since we were flying through cocktails. Maya was on her A game this morning in Trees. Tevon was literally anywhere we needed him to be. Kelsey took the pass for most of the PM rushes and absolutely crushed it. Jeshua kept the energy high to end a wacky night. Darius had plenty of sold-out shows solo in Lobby and needed no assistance. We pulled it all off because of each and every one of them. AB

Volo stopped in this morning. We didn't have any specials for them per se, but they really enjoyed the brunch HH deals. They should be in again tomorrow, I prepared some menus so we could continue running through some of our extra product. AB

Ice Machines at both bars are off and emptied for Dio cleaning tomorrow AM. AB

Customer Comments:
Had a little internet blackout moment, and we ended up having to rewind TH1, TH3, TH5 by about 5 minutes. More info in FOH blog. AB

BAR Staff Observations:
Tevon was the glue keeping everything together today. AB

Jeshua is still not slowing down when putting in orders. Multiple food orders didn't have table numbers, so Jeshua would have to direct runners for every food ticket. I'm not sure how many times we've given him this note. AB

FOH Staff Observations:
Thank you Erech for setting up breakfast for the building this morning! AB

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Dana let me know early this morning he wasn't feeling well. Today not being as hectic as yesterday, we simply pushed my in-time to 1:00PM and I'll be here to facilitate the close. Tevon was a perfect lead and helped out both bars before I got in. AB

Special Events?
Back up on Trivia answer packets, and the menus are ready to go in the liquor room as well. Volo will stop by tomorrow, their menus are also on that shelf. AB

86ed / counts on items:
86 Prosecco, Mimosa. AB

Prep List:
Can we start peach tea concentrate early on tomorrow? All is currently behind bars. Tevon got us back up on everything else, if we can catch up on other misc. syrups before Tuesday. AB

Maintenance:
The self-service water lever in Trees is consistently getting stuck. It's making quite the mess and frustrating when we're busy.  Does something simply need to be tightened? AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
