Maintenance: Still no hot water, but glassware's coming out clean in Trees. AB
Until we get the boiler working, we should make sure the bartenders are pouring some hot water into the sinks at both bars. In case any glassware needs some added love. -DL
Pretty busy first two rounds on both floors. First Wives Club was a hit, plenty of prosecco was poured. Lobby bar had their hands full with a sold out The Fall Guy in 3, and the Mama Mia! private screening in 7. Challengers is obviously still crushing, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes continues to break 100 right before doors. Maya & Natasha opening both bars meant we never fell behind. Kelsey & Tevon jumped right into service so we could reset fluidly. AB
We ended up very behind on product. Natasha had to stock every cocktail this morning (store N pours were put away empty, etc.) so the walk-in was completely depleted at doors. Miguel picked up Gabrielle's shift last night, who doesn't usually close anymore, so that might have been part of it.

I've noticed a lot of both opening & closing duties slipping through the cracks recently - I spend way too much time running to get an item for bartenders to sell. I acknowledge we have a larger variety of product/garnishes this menu, I'm going to look into creating a "stocked product checklist" so there is more accountability for setting up across the board. After all the excitement from earlier, it became a calm evening. Planet of the Ape had a lot of walk in that also purchased a lot of drinks from lobby bar right away. Darius handle it well but something to keep in mind during this week. -DL

Kelsey called me over around 3:45, there was a man eating outside food in Trees Lounge. I explained we were a full dine-in theater and I asked him to put it away. He proceeded to curse me out a little bit and I just repeated myself and hovered until he got up and left (my move, sometimes effective). Around 4:45 Carly & I responded to a call from Julianna asking for security at TH2, seat 515. She asked the same man for a ticket, he said he lost it and was cursing at her as well, he was actually shouting throughout the theater by the time we got there. I asked him to come down to Lobby with us, reiterated that no one is calling him a liar but his demeanor was no longer acceptable and he needed to leave. There was a row of children behind him as he continued to curse at me and cause a scene. I said if he didn't come with me downstairs I would call the police. I asked Maya if she sold him a ticket and she said yes & that he paid with cash. I refunded him $17 so he could finally leave. Turns out he paid partial cash and 7 on a card. Order ID: 5zprp2d
I want to communicate that servers were making irate comments about not having security everyday, and that this topic will probably be brought up once more. I do find myself pretty terrifying, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't uncomfortable in this situation, and I get put into this situation on Sundays often. Just something we might need to revisit. AB
Just to add onto what AB said above, servers had a lot to say about safety protocol throughout the evening.
Today's incident caused some of the veteran servers to speak on all the other incidents that have taken place at both locations over the years. Seems like things tend to happen a lot on Sundays and even Mondays.-DL
