Manager Communication: 
Very similar to yesterday, with the second round doing well but without service ever getting unwieldy.  The weather definitely kept walk ins to a minimum, but Trivia filled out Trees for a chunk of the night. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 
Gabrielle was able to get out of here shortly before Trivia began, and Ian held down lobby solo all night without issue.  Darius, Maya, and Tevon are a well-oiled machine when it comes to Trivia, and resetting the floor is just as easy afterwards.  Easygoing night, great work from all bartenders. JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 
Dana was feeling ill this morning and let Nick and I know that he would not be able to make it in.  Nick moved his shift to the Sick section on Sfly. JH

Special Events? 
Trivia was great, not super packed due to the rain, but all tables were filled.  Darius, Maya, and Tevon make this look easy. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
There has been some variety in immersion blender use when batching the Ecto Chiller, so I am going to add a final step of straining the finished batch through a fine mesh strainer, like we do for kegged cocktails, to ensure product consistency.  Also, Tevon noted that this will also help with cleaning the tumblers on Mondays. JH

Will's key broke, so he used the lobby key for the remainder of service.  If someone can just make sure that key makes its way back to lobby tomorrow, please. JH

Miguel had his Lobby Open shift next Tuesday up, and since we do not have Trivia but still have five bartenders scheduled I asked Maya and Tevon if either of them would rather open instead of close that day.  Tevon took it.  Sfly is updated. JH

86'd Catskills Black Lager, Coconut Lime Slushie, In the Mood for Love, Interboro Helles Lager,  Lunar Seltzer, Peach Tea, & Piña Colada.

Budweiser & Hakuna Matata are on a count. JH 

Prep List: 
Had Tevon batch a half batch of Fistful.  This used up the last of the almond orgeat, and will set us up for the last two days of Winter Menu service. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Baldor mistakenly delivered lychee puree instead of prickly pear puree.  Nick reached out and set up a pick up and exchange for tomorrow morning, and Chef Stewart gave Esther a heads up about the pick up situation tomorrow morning. JH

Large US Foods order arriving tomorrow.  Also, keep an eye out for the FedEx delivery of Harney & Sons. JH

Maintenance: 
Had no further issues with the compressor at lobby this evening.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
