Thursday 04.11 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication:
Calm first round. Gave the openers time to reset and prepare for the later rounds. Darius swung upstairs to batch once Matthew arrived. Ian didn't have much traffic in Trees but he did have several people who stayed for a a long time. -DL

Judging by tonight, Civil War is definitely going to be keeping us on our toes this weekend. Natasha handled the solo close like a boss, but it's worth revisiting having two closers on Thursdays with business picking back up. Ian got the bar reset and left around 9. Darius preferred the later cut and stuck around for the last Civil War push. Cabaret was the sold-out star of the show, with excited bar guests before and after doors. Matthew was totally fine holding down a busy lobby, and watched Trees at the end so Natasha could get a final stock in. AB

At around 11:55PM Dwight called MOD's to inform us TH5 finished, and none of them had closed out their checks. I re-opened the Lobby gate and checked out all of the guests that were honest (a few walk-outs occurred). While apologizing to guests, no one seemed angry as much as they were confused. Regina took over Madelaine's TH5 around 10:30PM when I re-routed, and Regina only had 8 guests in TH7. While I was closing out guests Regina came over and said Madelaine was supposed to have closed them out already, and clearly wasn't taking responsibility for the oversight (mind you, Madelaine was told to leave at 10:30 & last call for TH5 was set at 11:20). FOH blog has more information, but it appears Regina quit. Her theaters weren't cleaned and stations weren't broken down. Myself, Daniella, and Jay finished the deed. AB

BAR Staff Observations:
Thankful for this Thursday team! Everyone was flexible, observant, & positive. AB

FOH Staff Observations:
Jay is an example of a server who genuinely cares about each guests experience. When a guest didn't like their drink, he offered me as much information as possible to solve the problem. His initiative is definitely noticed and unmatched. AB

I wrote that before Regina walked out and Jay helped me flip/clean TH5 & 7. Let's please keep him forever. AB

Prep List:
Darius knocked out a batch list to get us ready for tomorrow. He made a batch of the "What Type of American Are You" and the binders have been updated. -DL

Jenn, "What Type of American Are You" is on the bottom shelf! AB

We can get started on even more Cinnamon Demerara Syrup, since we're using it for two specials. AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Southern, Union and Empire were received today. -DL
Baldor arriving tomorrow. AB

Maintenance:
Juan cleared and checked the lowboys behind both bars. Also adjusted the tubes for all the lowboys to hopefully fix the condensation build-up. -DL
