Manager Communication:
A lot of cocktails being ordered in Trees during and after the event. A lot of traffic coming in ordering cocktails before their movies. The bartenders were able to handle it with ease but glassware became a constant issue due to Trees being busy in the middle of the rushes from the theaters. -DL

BAR Staff Observations:
Jeshua wasn't feeling his best today due to something his ate before work. He was able to push through and handle lobby with minor support from myself. Told him to keep us posted if he feels worst tomorrow and to get attempt to get coverage for it right away. -DL

FOH Staff Observations: 
Dee was really proactive about getting drink orders in ASAP during their greets in the larger theaters, which was positively commented on by bar staff.  Gave them a quick thank you, and reiterated how helpful that is during busier screenings. JH

Julianna and Vinny both mentioned that a trigger warning/heads up for servers working Civil War, as there are a lot of very quiet scenes that are punctuated with sudden gunfire.  I believe Julianna also spoke to Nathaniel that the check drop time for that movie should be adjusted based on where it falls in the movie, but he can speak more to that. JH

Special Events? 
Surprise Engagement party in Trees went great. Ian, Lydia and Gabrielle handled the majority of it while Matthew helped during the busy pushes from the theaters. -DL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
Just looking ahead to tomorrow: Jenna was unable to find coverage for her Lobby mid shift.  I have been in communication with both Ashley and Natasha (who will have to stay late to cover, as Jenna needs to leave at 4:30pm), and we'll comp Natasha dinner once her shift is over.  Jenna's next shift is April 22nd, and myself and Ashley will give her a written warning for failing to find coverage and for picking up a shift that she could not fully work. I have already started the doc in the drive, and can review it with Nick on Tuesday.  JH

Prep List: 
Ian got some batching done this afternoon, and we were able to make and charge two N/A Spritzer kegs. JH

The special for Civil War is moving extremely fast. Should make a double batch tomorrow. All of it is currently behind the bars. -DL

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
