Monday 04.01 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication: 
Pretty normal Monday over here at the ol' NPP. Godzilla x Kong in TH1 jumped first round and kept this building on it's toes with walk-ins. Miguel crushed service solo. Once closers got in, Jenna knocked out a bunch of roll-ups for trivia tomorrow night. Miguel cleaned the Coconut Lime Slushie frozen before he left. Tevon helped me update the draft boards, so it'll be a much easier transition putting up the new beers Friday AM. Tevon & Lydia each held down their floor for the rest of the night. Frozen machines were cleaned. AB

New Menu Prep: 
What got done tonight: Genmaicha infused Appleton 8 yr (Cool Runnings), Truffle Butter Popcorn Syrup (Last Action Hero), Honey Syrup (Neon Demon). AB

Prep we can start when deliveries come in tomorrow: Pistachio Syrup (Pistachio Mai Tai), Ginger Pineapple Syrup (Mr. Fusion). AB

Dana, do you want to take the lead on the Caperberry/Dill Vodka + Celery Saline Solution for Dirty Shame? Also are we snagging these ingredients from kitchen?
Jenn, I ran out of time lol if you want to get your Peach Sweet Tea Concentrate cooking, I snagged the two puree from deep freeze and moved them to the walk-in. AB

I'm going to snag tomatillos on my way in Wednesday night and can take the lead on Tomatillo Syrup (Up in Smoke). That should be all the behind-the-scenes prep to get us ready to batch with bartenders Thursday morning! AB

Special Events?
Drink menus for Trivia are printed and cut. Drink menus, answer packets, and QR codes are all in the Trivia folder in Jenn's cubby. Only thing left is the picture round stuff. AB

86: Catskill Black Lager, Interboro Helles Lager, Pina Colada, Coconut Lime Slushie, In the Mood for Love, Lunar Plum Hard Seltzer. 
On a count: Budweiser, Hakuna Matata (we batched a 1/4 batch to stay afloat tonight), Fistful of Dollars (we have enough orgeat syrup to make at least a 1/2 batch if we want to make that call tomorrow). About 4 quarts of Toddy Mix left, living solely in Trees. Can we have tomorrows Lobby Closer give that urn a deep-clean tomorrow night and return it to bar prep? AB

Prep List:
I got the jump on an Ecto Chiller, if the opener can add 128 oz Orange Juice & 64 oz Tangerine Juice when baldor comes. Already blended up! AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Baldor arriving tomorrow.  US Foods arriving on Wednesday.  Harney & Sons (iced tea pouches) arriving Wednesday or Thursday.

All n/a items for menu change should be in house once US Foods arrived, so we can knock out syrups Wednesday. JH

Maintenance:
Lydia called on the walkie about the soda machine system in Lobby making a very loud sound, followed by a burning smell. Jenn and & checked it out and the smell was overwhelming, but nothing felt warm to the touch. The sound itself was not reoccurring. I hooked up a fan to air out the area & clear the smell. Nick, if you could take a look tomorrow that would be excellent. Maybe we find time to replace those filters before Friday? AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
