Manager Communication: 
Another day with some more mellow first round screenings in the bigger theaters, and then ticket sales steadily rising throughout the day.  Having Dune and Kung Fu Panda alternate in the big theaters has been helpful in giving bartenders time to restock and reset the service pass between seatings.  Once the event cleared out, Trees stayed decently busy with a lot of people coming through for some snacks and bevvies after the parade. JH

Both bars ran extremely smooth today. Kelsey was able to get out a little before her schedule time. We  kept Natasha a bit longer to get a good restock in and cover for family meal. Trees emptied out real early which made breaking down bar a breeze for Jeshua. -DL

BAR Staff Observations: 
As mentioned in Special Events, Matthew and Natasha were excellent at this morning's event, and slid right back into theater service once it wrapped up.  Kelsey was solo in Lobby most of the day, and she really held it down, which is great to see from her.  Once Tevon got in, Matthew was able to get out of here and both bars did a big restock to set up for the rest of the afternoon. JH

Tevon was able to knock out a large batch list at the end of the night in record time to make things easier tomorrow. The only thing he couldn't get around to was the Espresso Martini. Wanted to wait until Stumptown comes in since we're down to our last keg of cold brew. -DL 

Around midnight the alarm by 14th st went off. Looks like one of the porters knocked the cover to the fire alarm directly across from the doors while taking the trash out. It was only the alarm for the cover so it did not stop anything for service. Just making note for them to be more careful since it was a close call. -DL

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 
Miguel out due to back injury. Already updated in schedulefly. 

Special Events? 
The St. Patrick's Day brunch event went well, both Matthew and Natasha were here bright and early to set up Trees Lounge for success.  Definitely a bigger, and thirstier, crowd than year's past, so having two bartenders on was essential.  Guests drank all the Guinness by 12:30, and then transitioned to draught beers, and we sold about a dozen Irish Coffees.  We used a tin and a hawthorne strainer's spring to fresh whip heavy cream for each Irish Coffee, and guests were pleased.  Wrapped up a little after one, and the Trees floor was reset pretty quickly. Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
The Amazon umbrella should arrive tomorrow.  The previous order appears to have been lost in transit, and I was told by Amazon that I could request a refund tomorrow if they do not arrive today. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
