Manager Communication:
Hello, busy Friday night! We had a plethora of folks ordering HH drinks & HH small plates earlier in the evening - let's reiterate to Trees bartenders to keep an eye on roll-ups this weekend. From 6-8:00PM, all downstairs theaters were sold out! Gabrielle & Tevon were simply amazing in Lobby, taking turns getting glassware and hustling through some of the busiest 3&5 drink service I've seen. Ian did some light batching and went back to Trees to help Matthew and Natasha. AB

Tevon got us back up on some Trees cocktail cheaters before he was cut. We are officially running through what we have behind the bar for Y Tu Mama & Cosmopolis, I've been making a half batch of Brain the Size of a Walnut every other day if we want to keep checking that. If Ariel stops by tomorrow morning, he'll be bringing enough apricot syrup from WB to get us back up on French Dispatch before menu change. AB

I drafted a very rough doc in the drive called "NPP Spring 2024 [BAR] Menu Change Week Responsibilities". It's simply a reference for us going into the new menu regarding side work and daily tasks so we don't feel so overwhelmed Thursday/Friday. Feel free to add anything here, including an opportune day to change filters, etc. AB

Customer Comments: 
We had an unusual amount of younger groups in Trees tonight after 7:30PM. Some were trying to order multiple alcoholic beverages for individuals that couldn't provide identification. Thankfully, Natasha is the ID checking queen of Nitehawk. Lots of leads closing tonight that are very familiar with the age policy, but we should maybe mention it in this week's bar email to be even more vigilant. AB

BAR Staff Observations:
Gabrielle, Ian, Matthew, Natasha, & Tevon were as phenomenal as expected. AB

FOH Staff Observations: 
Jeremy Pryzby (TH6) had multiple rounds of drinks dying at the pass tonight. Jared stepped in to help when I notified him about the situation. A lot of cocktails needed to be remade and bartenders were rightfully frustrated. AB

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
The ball rack at the pool table is broken.  I ordered a new one from Amazon, which should arrive Sunday/Monday. JH

Prep List:
We are all batched up on N/A goodies for the 16th Bday party tomorrow. Ian made an Ecto Chiller sans orange juice, so we can knock that out fast in the morning when Baldor arrives. We're running through the end of the Coconut Lime Slushie (no coco lopez). 
  
Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Baldor arrived today.  We were shorted three cases of orange juice, but unfortunately Baldor was having issues with their phones today so I was unable to get a credit started.  I will reach out first thing in the morning. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
