Manager Communication:
The In The Mood For Love in lobby bar was froze over this morning when I came in. It was set to cold but kept itself to a freezing temperature all night. After calling it in to Elmeco they confirmed we have an issue with the part that reads the temp in that specific side of the machine. They're shipping a new piece right away that should be here by the end of the week for free. We can install it ourselves or call a 3rd party tech from the area to install it but the customer service rep said it's an easy part to swap out. -DL

Bar mats- Gil pointed out to me they were extra sticky this morning. May be time for us to order more. If anyone can communicate where we get them from I can place an order this week to ensure we get the same ones. -DL

I swung Matthew up to Trees to support since TH1 and TH2 were both sold out and had their drink pushes line up at the same time. They didn't order as much as anticipated, however, so he stocked both bars and was out before 8PM. Darius, Kelsey, and Tevon held down the party and Kelsey left by 10:15PM. The open bar was very intense in the first hour, and dwindled down from there. Tevon cut off one guest that I, too, agreed seemed too intoxicated. The situation did not escalate from there. AB

BAR Staff Observations:
Kelsey and Jeshua were able to do both bubblers early so the closers could focus on the events and open bar. -DL

Trees bartenders did such an amazing job with the Shorts Fest event tonight. Darius and Tevon were constantly communicating product levels and sweeping the floor for glassware. AB 

Around 9:00PM Jeshua was talking on his phone while tending Lobby Bar. There were neglected drink tickets at this time as well. Gil clocked the incident, and Jeshua put his phone away after he was told. AB

FOH Staff Observations:
A young girl threw up in Trees early this afternoon. Vlad cleaned it up right away and had the area smelling normal before any more guest came in. Gave him a token for dealing with it so quickly. -DL

Special Events? The Shorts Fest open bar was a success. "Cuál Progreso?" outdid itself tonight, selling twice as much as "We Should Forage" and "Happy Ranchiversary!" combined. I batched one more just to have extra bottles in rotation. We replaced the garnish for "We Should Forage" with a raspberry and a blueberry on a skewer, since we couldn't find cranberries at multiple stores. I refilled all batch bottles in rotation after last call. AB

Current product level going into Shorts Fest closing party:

"Cuál Progreso?": 6 bottles plus 17 quarts backup. (this includes the batch I made tonight)

"We Should Forage": 4.5 bottles plus 8 quarts backup.

"Happy Ranchiversary!": 6 bottles plus 8 quarts backup. AB

For the closing party on Monday, we should make sure the air is set to cool and not heat. AB

Prep List:
Tevon batched to get ahead to prepare for Dune 2 tomorrow. -DL

We should get ahead of some Maple Pear Sage syrup (Winter G&T). AB
