Manager Communication:

Notting Hill & Space Jam were super popular this morning, and I anticipate the same for tomorrow morning.  Plenty of the smaller theaters selling out now that we have the shorts programming and Poor Things out of the big theaters, with ticket sales growing steadily throughout the day. 

Scheduling was great today, really well timed, and service was very smooth.  Just busy enough that I never pulled any Leads for batching, but we will definitely have extra hands and time this evening to catch up on the few small things we need to make. JH   

The last two rounds continued to stay busy. A lot of last minute walk-in that caused big jumps closer to the start time of the movies. Still found a lot of time to restock Trees and get some batching completed in order to get a bit ahead of tomorrow. DL 

Customer Comments:
Had 3 women in Trees this evening that gave Lydia and Gabrielle an issue towards the end of the night. They had one round of drinks that Garbiele served them and then closed out. They then order some food and attempted to order another round of drinks. Lydia made a good call to not served them anymore drinks as they seemed over their limit. After they ate their food and they attempted to walk away without paying for it when Gabrielle stopped them in order to pay. When I got there Dwight and Gabriele were talking to her and trying to explain what they still needed to pay for and why they couldn't get any more drinks. After trying to talk to her for a bit she got too disrespectful and seemed too intoxicated to fully understand so we closed her out again and continued on. -DL

BAR Staff Observations: 

Again, we have a great bar team on brunch, no matter who is scheduled.  Both bars were set up for success by doors, with Maya cutting up some citrus to set up Trees while I stayed up at Trees with Miguel during the Notting Hill push.  Matthew came in right before Space Jam sat, so we were able to do a quick reset while keeping up with service.  Once Tevon was in, both bars got restocked and prepped for dinner service. Tevon, Gabrielle and Lydia all did great in Trees today. Tevon took lead and made sure to keep up with restocking Trees when free time permitted. I swung downstairs to cover Jeshua in order to restock after the busy dinner round and before the last push from TH7 at 9:30. DL

FOH Staff Observations: 

Really great hustle and support from the openers, particularly during our first round Th1/2 screenings, while James held down a busy shorts screening on his own upstairs. JH

Found a lot of used cups piled up at the end of lobby bar. Jeshua informed me that some of the servers were leaving them there throughout the evening and never came back. Just a reminder for them to clean up behind themselves. -DL

Special Events? 

Can we show Space Jam every month? It's been a while since a brunch screening hyped up the whole opening team before the theater was even open. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

The Amazon order with the last items for us to make our syrups for NSF specials is out for delivery and should arrive by 10pm. JH

Amazon arrived. All product is in the liquor room. -DL

Prep List:

Matthew batched a NA Spritz and Espresso Martini. Both are in cambro on the bottom shelf in the walk-in. Both kegs will probably kick early in the morning. -DL

Maintenance: 

The lowboy under the Coconut Lime Slushie leaked a small puddle onto the floor.  We contained it with rags, and checked the temperature inside, which appeared normal, and there was no leak or puddles inside.  Added to the Maintenance Doc. JH
