Wednesday 11.29 Dana/Ashley



Manager Communication:
The ice machine in Trees was off when we came in today. It was full of ice when we came in and seems to be working fine. Gabrielle was great in the lobby and cleaned the Bubbler before she was cut. Matthew agreed to stay an extra hour to support for the event in Trees if needed. -DL Very smooth evening, 1/2 Trees buyout included. The pool was small and everyone stepped up. Jeshua held down Lobby while Matthew and Lydia absolutely crushed service. Matthew was excellent at directing afterparty guests.  Raising Cane in TH1 had a steady drink push. -AB

Special Events?
Going To Mars - The Nikki Giovanni Project. The 1/2 Trees buyout went smooth as butter. Matthew took the lead for the first hour which was a huge help. Lydia was more than capable of taking it from there. The afterparty dwindled quickly. Note: Raekwon was a delight. -AB

Prep List:
Knocked out a lot batching today. Guava Island was added to the No Batch list. -DL We should get some more Hibiscus Syrup going tomorrow. If Hypno-Ganja lives to see another week, that can get prepped as well. -AB

Pay Outs:
Two kitchen payouts, but one price was actually duplicated @ $15.36. One should be $14.97. $15.36 was for beets. $14.97 was for parmesan cheese. Not sure who put these in, but it's less than a dollar of an error. -AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
US Food came today but shorted us on Barq Root Beer
All other orders were received without any issues. -DL

Maintenance:
Another Trees Lounge chair is down for the count. One of the legs is broken, it is under the table outside the MOD office. AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
