Manager Communication: 

Easygoing Monday, with the dinner round and MubiGo The Killer leading the day in ticket sales. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

I say it all the time, but really great work tonight all around from bar team.  Once everyone had a chance to grab family, I had a preshift with Lydia, Maya, and Tevon, where we reviewed the rules and drinks of the evening.  They all asked great questions, worked really well together, and never needed clarification during service beyond that initial preshift meeting.

Jenna came up to Trees and absolutely crushed service bar solo for the entire dinner round, which meant the other bartenders could focus solely on bar guests.  Darius held down lobby bar solo all night, and helped Trees closeout after he was done closing lobby bar.  Maya took lead on closing Trees, and Tevon ran the event product back to the walkin and restocked the backbar in order. FOH Staff Observations: 

Erech was an absolute dream to have as support at Trees for the event. JH

Special Events? 

The Monkey Shoulder event went really well.  We were well-staffed, -stocked, and -prepared by the time event began, but guests never really rushed the bar and came in as a trickle throughout the evening.  All bartenders were certainly kept busy throughout, but it was never overwhelming.  Guests were relatively well behaved, with the exception of one guest on mezz who had to be told he could not smoke inside.  But other than that, no one had to be cut off or caused any disturbances.

We have a bunch of disco ball cups that Monkey Shoulder did not want back, so I figure we can leave them out at family meal to see if any staff wants them.  If there aren't any takers, we can toss them or find some other use for them. 

Monkey Shoulder's load-out was certainly less than ideal.  It appears that the majority of their staff did not stick around to help out, and most of the stuff in lobby was left behind.  Chenelle pitched in and helped Ari pack up, and then Chenelle brought the lobby items up to the bar storage closet. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 

On Saturday's tip sheet, it looks like Miguel took a break for over an hour.  Looking at his time punches on Saturday, it appears he took a break but never clocked back in, only doing so when he was cut.  I don't know if it was mentioned to a manager, but if someone on Saturday could confirm Miguel's break was not over twenty minutes, we can adjust it on MB. JH

86ed / counts on items: 

86'd Rockaway Nitro Stout.  

We are 86'd Autumn G&T, as one of the Monkey Shoulder specials was run on a draught line.  We are going to run that drink as a Trivia special tomorrow, so Autumn G&T will be 86'd until Wednesday at the earliest. JH

Prep List: 

There is a fair amount of product that should be batched tomorrow, but we have a lot of bar managers and bartenders in, so it will all be sorted before Trivia starts. JH

Over/Short on Banks: 

Trees checkout was under by $500, to accommodate the $500 pay out for the DJs.  Since Trees took in $5 cash all day, myself and Nathaniel pulled all $500 from the cash box.  I had Trees do their closeout as though the pay out did not occur, since Trees' bank was never touched. JH

Filmbot: 

Filmbot's bank had coins in it today.  Just a reminder, we only need to have coin change in Filmbot on days we are screening Taylor Swift. JH
