Manager Communication: 
Quiet day in the building, with the exception of the two NewFest screenings. JH
The theater 1 Newfest crowd hungout before and after the movie. A big group arrived about two plus hours before the screening so Trees was pretty busy. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Darius held down Lobby all day and did a great job. Lydia opened Trees and got ready for the evening. Lydia and Tevon worked the Newfest crowd and did a great job. Tevon had a great close. EL

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jeshua couldn't work today. EL

Special Events?  Newfest, Nice crowd. EL

86ed / counts on items: Athletic is low. 

Prep List:
We are set for the Queer Media Mixer tomorrow.  All syrups have been made, and I will be making all four drinks in the morning.  Eliel and I moved the sparkling, rose, and white wine into the walkin with the Allagash beers.  Eliel also brought out two back up racks of coupes to Trees and Lobby, so that we are all set with chilled glassware for the two drinks that will be served up. JH

Maintenance: 
The NuCO saga continues.  I called NuCO as soon as I got in to check on our maintenance call and was told that a technician was scheduled to be here by one this afternoon.  

Once that time passed and no technician had arrived, I called NuCO back and they were unable to give me any further information and told me someone would call me back.  When they didn't, I called back and was told that everyone in the scheduling office had left for the day, but that it appeared our maintenance call was rescheduled for this Wednesday, October 18th.  

I have left messages for their scheduling department to call me back, and will reach out to them again tomorrow to see if I can squeeze water from a stone. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
