Manager Communication: Pretty good evening at Trees lounge. Busy bar crowds and a great Viva crowd. Can't believe a single movie sold more than Barbie. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Tevon had to dip out of the meeting early to open Trees and Lobby, and they were great about communicating and prepping garnish and juice in tandem.  First round was a breeze at both bars. JH 
Tevon and Ashley batched and got through the last big seatings before they left. Both Matthew and Jeshua had good closes. Matthew is becoming surgical with the Trees Closes. Gives Chelsea vibes. Great to see. EL

FOH Staff Observations: Great teamwork today. EL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Feedback from servers and runners was beneficial during the bar portion of the meeting.  I was able to speak to Nick for a minute afterwards to give him an update, and he'll speak about it at Tuesday's meeting. 

Sarah approached me after the meeting with a great idea to help runners in training get more acquainted with running food at Trees, which I looped Jeremy in on.  Hopefully we can add it going forward.  Will discuss more on Tuesday when we're all in the same space. JH

Prep List: Got a Hatch Rye in the walk-in that needs straining. EL

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: All liquor/wine/beer orders have arrived, except for Other Half.

Big deliveries from Baldor & US Foods tomorrow.  I will be coming in a little early to make sure they are out of kitchen and put away in the morning. Stumptown should also be arriving. JH

Maintenance: The connecting bar under the dri-deck at the Trees glasswasher keeps getting disoldged, which I'm worried may cause it to buckle. It seems pretty secure at the moment, but it keeps popping out so I added it to Maintenance so that Juan can take a look at tightening it. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
