Manager Communication: Another busy day with Th1/2/3/4 leading ticket sales again. JH

Yep, pretty busy Sunday from the jump for the second half of the day. Trees lounge was firing on all cylinders and cutting through all the service tickets with ease. I was able shuffle people around to fill in service gaps so that all the pushes went smoothly. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Andrea held down lobby solo up until about three, and was able to keep up with several busy service pushes on the first floor. Natasha, similarly, worked the first round at Trees without issue. Timing it between rushes, myself and Natasha were able to knock out some syrups and batching to catch up with restocks.

Once Maya and Darius were in, service was just as smooth. Maya was in particularly good spirits, and was much more amenable to taking direction and assisting guests at the bar than she had been on previous shifts I worked with her (I haven’t worked a shift with Maya since right before her annual review due to scheduling). Also, Darius is very diligent when it comes to getting out from behind the bar at Trees to touch and bus tables.

Andrea had her annual review today with myself and Edgar, which went very well.  JH

To add to what Jenn said about Maya, she was super helpful in filling in the gaps today and moving between levels to help with the rushes. She was great about supporting the service bar and was actively taking guests at Trees. I'm glad to see that she seems to be turning it around.

I ran Chester through our frozen machines tonight to make sure they are up to speed on NPP Sunday nights. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Once again Darielle and Rebecca were critical assets at Trees service for when I needed to step away to take care of a call. They both picked up right where I left off when traying drinks and made sure to communicate with me when the stations were getting too full. Great work from both of them!

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Can we get a key for the booth at lobby bar that bartenders can use to grab merch or lost and found items for a guest. During busier service pushes, earlier rounds especially, needing a manager to go downstairs for those calls can pull them away for extended periods of time. JH

Soda closet was a bit of a mess this morning, and needed a lot of reorganization. Just a reminder to make sure we are FIFO’ing the syrups, and keeping two of each 5-gallon boxes and one each of 2.5-gallon boxes on the risers next to the syrups hooked up to Trees. JH

There was a moment where I realized someone 86'd the spider-man drink cocktail accidentally instead of the food item (corn fritters). I didn't catch this until the doors opened for the last round of into the spider-verse. I reckon we missed out on at least one full screening if not both the dinner round screenings (7:30 showing for sure) as I don't recall exactly when the radio call from kitchen came through and who exactly 86'd it. As I was getting pulled between both bars, I didn't notice it right away, but corrected it as soon as it was brought to my attention. EA

86ed / counts on items: 86’d Peach Tea & Ruby Hibiscus. JH

86'd Corona, Hard Kombucha is on a count, Tecate is super low but it's not on a count since it's split between two drinks (Michelada and the can of Tecate itself). Opening MOD's please keep an active eye on these items as the day progresses in case there's a sudden sell out of them. EA

Prep List: The fridge is pretty stocked. The only thing I might see us needing at some point is lemonade again, but both bars should have enough to start service and move through the first round. Tevon is the lead on open and I advised him to divide any kind of garnish and juicing between himself and Lydia. EA

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor & US Foods tomorrow. JH

I placed an order on Amazon for thin black picture frames to relocate the bar signage at trees. The old ones were broken and cruddy. EA
