Saturday 06.10 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication: Pretty busy afternoon, evening, and late round today. The bulk of service was spent on theater drinks as Trees was relatively calm considering the amount of people in the building. EA

BAR Staff Observations: It was a mellower first round than last weekend, so service was pretty smooth throughout the day.  Andrea was well-prepped for ST&B, and Natasha set up Trees with cut citrus.  Once mids came in, I had them both hang out at Trees to navigate some sold out Spider-Man screenings.  Matthew and Andrea both went down to lobby once Gabrielle arrived, and I pulled Natasha to get some batching done after restocks were done. JH

Mids and closers absolutely crushed it. Maya and Matthew ran the ticketing and drink tickets for the ground floor with relative ease. At times even coming upstairs to check on Trees. Ashley, Ian, and Gabrielle took care of everyone @ Trees as per usual. Busy, yet organized and easy shift with the team today. EA

FOH Staff Observations: There were some real bottlenecks at Trees' service pass today during the dinner and late round where drinks were backing up at the pass. I had to stop the service several times to let let servers catch up. During both the dinner and late rounds, the tickets came all at once and was only manageable because trees wasn't busy. I'm not entirely sure what the cause is, but it is disruptive to the flow of service at the bar when we're waiting for drink runners to finally come down.

On a more positive note, Atlas is a complete rockstar and was always willing to throw their hands in to help whenever they had any free time. EA

Special Events? Pretty mellow ST&B crowd. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: On Saturday/Sunday opens, can opening managers turn the frozen machines on once they get in?  With the weather getting warmer and the ac not running overnight, the machines struggle to freeze the product in time for doors if opening bartenders/bar manager switch them on at 9:30.

Spoke with FedEx again and set up another pick up for Monday.  I asked why they have missed the previous four pick ups, and the agent on the phone said that there were no notes on any of the previous requests that would explain the situation.  The confirmation number is: CPU370031610. JH

86ed / counts on items: NA beer is on a count.

Prep List: Used the last of the Bloody concentrate to make Bloody Mary this morning.  We should be fine for the remainder of the weekend, but should definitely make more concentrate Monday/Tuesday to get ahead of it.

I will be picking up more n/a blue curaçao Monday morning to finish off the Part of Your World batch that Ian started. JH

Welcome back Eliel!

To add to the above, we have no more Part of Your World in the back, but might be able to get through Sunday's service.

Other things I spotted that we needed: Spider-Man Drink, Junglebird, Lemonade, and Strawberry Lemonade (everyone has been just ripping through this.) EA

Pay Outs: $150.00 (DJ Ariel) JH

Lost & Found?: There was an infant's jean jacket left at Trees. I moved it to the lost and found bin in the lobby. EA
