Manager Communication: Trivia kept Trees busy, but otherwise quiet all throughout the rest of the building. The weather was gorgeous outside. 

Both the tap brushes and the carriage hooks for the lobby rail have been found and reinstalled. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Seems like Tashi and Darius had pretty straight forward opens today. They seemed comfortable behind their bars and weren't in need of anything. After the closers came and everyone ate family meal, I had Darius start our batch catchup from yesterday and I took over once Trivia people were in. 

Darius ran the floor service, but had a small walkout from non-regulars who managed to slip out while he believes he was at another table or picking up trees. Unfortunately we couldn't track the guests because no one was sure if they were there for trivia, a movie, or just visiting. 

Otherwise, Tashi and Tevon did very well behind the bar, while Darius ran the floor before we reset for the night. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Lobby has been getting a fair amount of delivery drivers trying to drop off deliveries in the lobby after we have opened doors.  Bartenders have been doing their best to have deliveries go to the 14th Street entrance, but often receive pushback.  

This afternoon a FedEx delivery driver unloaded several film reels next to the bar right in front of the door of Th7, and when I asked him to use the 14th Street entrance in the future he got very upset and began yelling that no one ever answers that door.  We had deliveries received in kitchen this morning, so I don't believe he even tried to ring the bell.  I know in the past that the volume on that bell sometimes gets turned down, so if we could just make sure that kitchen keeps the volume up to help allay the issue. 

Also, please reiterate to servers that if a guest has a complaint about a drink in the theater not only does it need to be brought to a bar managers attention, but the drink should be brought back to the bar.  Jared was going through comps today and mentioned a ticket where Brendan had comped two neat pours of Espolon Reposado after a guest complained that we had watered down the product before serving.  Edgar, who was bar manager at the time, was not informed of the issue, but did note that those drinks were not returned to the bar. As the guest's complaint was a pretty big one, bar needs to be kept in the loop in those situations and the drinks should have been removed from the table.  JH

Tevon brought up a great point today. If we aren't planning on doing the patio anymore, can we repurpose the patio tab on mobilebytes for trivia and redo the table layout? I think it may help keep us more organized if we match the tables to a layout and may prevent future walkouts. Labeling table numbers and names is just such a mess at the moment as it requires more time to make sure food is getting to the right place. It will also make it easier to take cards and quickly refer back to the table instead of doing it by name. This may help prevent future walk outs while we wait for preauth to be added to trees. EA

Prep List: The only thing that Darius and I weren't able to get to is to make more Finger batch, but since it's so easy to prepare, it can be done tomorrow before service. We have a lot of lemonade and strawberry lemonade made to prepare for the SMB movie. EA
