Sunday 4/16 Eliel & Edgar



Manager Communication: Busy morning with some servers out so I ran drinks for a bit after opening. Mostly for theater 3. Then the second and third rounds crushed. EL

Made it through another Mario Mania weekend. The afternoon round was well in its way by the time I got in, but the bar made quick work of the tickets. Dinner round was also very well sold, but we had a quiet late round. EA

Customer Comments: A family of six left Air in theater 7 as soon as they sat, complaining that the theater is two small and the website should have told them. I offered them a credit, but they started raising their voices saying they wouldn’t ever come back. I gave them a refund and sent them on their way. They were very offended by the theater's size. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Great openers! Ashley was a great mid, Tashi had to leave. More on that below. It was very busy. EL

Adding to that, Ashley was amazing at leading the team as always and powered through all the service rushes after Natasha left us for the day. Ashley and Darius held down Trees with no problem. After a big restock, I was able to get Ashley out of here for the night. Maya held down the lobby with no mid today after Tashi left early. She was well equipped to run the lobby solo and called for backup when needed. Solid closes by her and Darius. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Hallie was great in theater 3 under a lot of pressure during the first round. EL

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Tashi hit their head yesterday and asked to fill out an incident report today. We filled it out, I put it in the drive and left the original in Jess' box.  They said they felt okay to work only a little dizzy and "hungover" even though they didn't drink the day before. After a little while I checked in with them again and saw that they were visibly a bit disorientated in their movement.  I had them clock out and sit and Paul helped get them to an urgent care. They also told me they'd hit their head earlier last week as well. EL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:

Prep List: Lemonade when we get our delivery. It looks like we'll need some firewalk and possibly junglebird tomorrow. We were unable to do a deep syrup refresh because we were down a body. We got some honey syrup done, but still need:

-Molasses Syrup
-House Grenadine
-Arbol Tequila
-Warchild Syrup

I can get started on these tomorrow when I'm in if there isn't time earlier. EA

Scheduling: Miguel's shift for tomorrow is up. I started reaching out to people, but most haven't gotten back to me or have it blocked out on SF. Sales aren't too high so maybe we can run with three. I reached out to the crew to see how flexible they are with tomorrow, but have yet to hear back from them as of this post. EA

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Southern should be arriving tomorrow. EA

Maintenance: Let's roll out the new floor mats for Trees tomorrow to see if they need any alterations. They're all in the Liquor storage. EA

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
