Manager Communication: Busy busy busy on all three floors throughout the day.  The weather definitely drove day-of ticket sales up, and we were nonstop on all three floors. JH

Same thing for evening and late rounds. It was a steady stream all night with a good number of people in Trees through last call. EA

Customer Comments: I have noticed several guests in the last few weeks who get incredibly upset when they are told they cannot bring strollers into the theater with them.  Could we get some signage in lobby marking the landing as stroller/scooter parking more clearly, as well as a note that guests are welcome to ask staff for assistance getting up the stairs, should they need it?  I think this would go a long way in keeping those guests from arguing with bartenders about the policy, as I've seen it sour a few people who are first time guests before they even get to the theater. JH

BAR Staff Observations: Really strong opens from Andrea and Natasha, which was great since service really took off across the building once we opened doors.  Maya helped Andrea through a sold out Th2 when they arrived, and floated back downstairs to help Natasha navigate some sold out screenings once Tevon arrived. 

Service was continuous all day, so I made sure to plot out restock times in between the lulls for both floors, and very rarely had to step behind the bar, so I was able to primarily expo and emergency batch product as needed.  Once all closers were in, Andrea and Natasha were able to get out of here once both bars were restocked and reset. JH

Consistent service behind both bars today. Ashley, Ian, and Tevon were on point today and squeezing in every restock they could in between rounds. I expo'd the sold out rounds and helped them navigate busy theaters + Trees. Miguel and Maya were in the lobby and after I moved from the sold out theater round at Trees, I was able to help them expo a sold out late round. 

There was a moment where I had to remind them that although Dwight is there to help with ticketing, it should only be reserved for when they are busy with bar guests and drink tickets at the same time. In that instance, he was doing the ticketing while both the bartenders were hanging in the background in between their rushes. Everything ran smoothly otherwise. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Really great support and communication at the service pass today.  Servers also really made an effort in the first round to pre-bus their theaters and bring down dirty glasses to Trees before credits, as we were overwhelmed with coffee and tea orders at the top of the day. JH

Special Events? Both Jumanji and Singin' in the Rain were very popular, with lots of kids in attendance. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: The projection screen being hooked up to Plex is a big hit at Trees.  Plenty of guests choosing to stay at Trees a little longer, and it actually helped distract any parties with young children that had arrived before their theater was open. 

Also, could we order some more trays?  It never impacted service, but there were long stretches of time at Trees where the pass had only one tray. Servers, runners, and bartenders were all proactive about returning, and searching for, trays, so I think we may just be at the point where we need more to keep up with busy days like today. JH

86ed / counts on items: 86 Peach Tea.  We are also low on cherries, with more due to arrive on Monday. JH

Prep List: We'll need another keg of Old Fashioned as one of them kicked today and we seem to be going through a lot more this weekend. In addition to this we'll need more Hail Satan!, and Michelada mix.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Jarritos arrived this morning, just as we were about to open doors. 

I requested a refund on the four-pack of Nu-Foamicide ordered on Amazon, as it has disappeared from tracking.  They said they sent an email to the account connected to Amazon, and it should be processed shortly.  I will be placing an order for more through Fast Kathy on Monday. In the meantime, the single bottle that I ordered through Amazon that did arrive will get us through until then. JH

Maintenance: The self-serve water tap is all good to go at Trees.  There were unable to get the tap to work at Lobby, so that one is not in service yet, but should be finished up tomorrow or Monday. JH

The bar staff loves the water station at Trees! Would it be possible to get something painted on the black column by the water station to make it more visible? I was thinking white lettering in vertical like the script we have leading to the Mezz. Not a priority, but would help with visibility. EA
