Sunday 3/26 Eliel - Edgar



Manager Communication: Easy open today, movies had a nice spread to them. Trees started building a crowd mid afternoon.  I took advantage of the low stock in the walk in and washed the shelves where we keep batched product through the dish machine and wiped the walls and under with citric acid before stocking it back up. EL

Dinner round was skinny busy and kept the bars busy until the late round where everything thinned out. EA

Customer Comments: There was a lot of shuffling around and ticket exchanges for 6:45pm showing of Shazam in TH5. The main criticism was on how small the theater is and how wide the screen is followed by how they wish they knew that before purchasing tickets online. Short of putting very explicit details on the website, I don't know how else to address this. I did happily move them to where I could with the limited seating. 

I've instructed lobby bartenders to also mention the unique layout of the auditorium if the guests have any questions about seat selection at the box office. EA 

BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Andrea had great opens and were ready for business. Ashley was a much needed mid and helped everywhere including batching. EL

Natasha helped get us past the 6:15 John Wick and was able to get us batched before being cut for the day. Again, since we were down a bartender, Ashley was a tremendous help at Trees leading the rest of the dinner rushes with Miguel so I could lend a hand in the lobby with Maya for ticketing and drink tickets. 

Was able to get Ashley out around 10pm. Maya and Miguel closed down their bars and cleaned the frozen machines. EA

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Tevon called out sick, Edgar showed me how to add it to the calendar. 8 hrs Added EL

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: folks need to be better about wiping down the shelves when they grab and add product. EL

Pay Outs: 5460 - $26.10 Skull skewers for John Wick special. EA

Lost & Found?: Helped a kid find a water bottle in theater 5. EL

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Nick Friday 2/11

Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
