Monday 03.27 Jenn/Edgar



Manager Communication: Rainy day for the most part today. Trees was pretty mellow all afternoon into the night with a few people sprinkled here and there. There was a decent pop for the dinner showing of John Wick and the late round for The Hunger, but nothing crazy afterwards. Most of the crowd scooted on out for the night right after the film. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Quiet open for Ashley and Eliel today so they were able to get side work done as per usual. Ashley stayed through the seating for The Hunger and then was cut after the rush subsided. Eliel was cut much earlier in the day since there wasn't much to batch. 

Jenna ran the lobby solo while Miguel took care of Trees for the remainder of the night. Easy day overall. EA

Just an update from my end for the ADP training. Gabrielle and Darius are caught up. I spoke to both Miguel and Jenna about having theirs done by this Thursday. Will check in with other staff as the week progresses. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Myself and Kim were able to meet up and do some clean up on Inventory on Craftable.  We divvied up the new drink recipes, and will be updating Craftable over the next few days. 

Been finding a lot of empty roll ups at Trees, from when people take silverware for family meal if forks run out.  If we could just remind staff to try not to take from roll ups and, if it is necessary, to not leave the empty napkin behind.  It can be a headache to think you are prepped on roll ups only to realize most of them are empty or forkless.  JH

86ed / counts on items: Counts on the Spice Spice Baby (8) and the Athletic N/A Beer (6)

Prep List: Made a mini-batch of Spice Spice Baby, that lives in a store n' pour up at Trees.  It is currently on a count in Mobilebytes.  JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor arriving tomorrow.  US Foods arriving Wednesday.  A lot of new items for menu change, so keep an eye on invoices to make sure bar is receiving all needed items. JH

Ordered a new set of water filters for both bars. Waiting on a shipping conformation. EA

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
