Manager Communication: Pretty steady day. Megan brought out good numbers and Spoons saw around 70 people. First floor saw good numbers for dinner and the late round as well. It was my first Spoons and it ran pretty smoothly and started on time. Small crowd at Trees afterwards.  EA

Customer Comments:

BAR Staff Observations: Solid day for the bar today. Megan did pretty well upstairs and kept Ashley and Tevon going. Ashley stayed through the seating for spoons and was a champ about resetting before she got out. Chelsea batched a bit and was out a little earlier, while Andrea ran the lobby until close.

Both Andrea and Tevon brought the remaining Mint Julep batch to the walk in. EA

Special Events? STB After Dark.

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Now that the winter holiday decorations have been taken down, could we put the string lights we had down in the front window in Lobby on the railing going up the stairs to the Mezz?  With the popcorn light still out of commission, those stairs get really dark at night and we aren't able to brighten them without making the rest of Trees inappropriately lit. JH

Prep List: We'll need to prep some Blue gin tomorrow so we can make more Heart Shaped Herb. EA

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor & US Foods tomorrow. US Foods is expected to pick up the incorrectly-delivered items from yesterday.  Edgar will leave the boxes labeled and in the kitchen before heading out tonight. JH

Maintenance: Not pressing, but the service well at Trees is acting up again and taking a lifetime to drain. I know we snaked it before, but it was only marginally better. All the other wells have no problem draining. Can we look into just replacing the piping to something that will allow it to be usable. 

We had a glass break during a dinner service rush and it just bogged us down so unnecessarily. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
