Sunday 1/29 Eliel and Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty busy start to the day with Strange Love doing good and Never Ending Story doing great. Got a little slower after that but great crowds. EL

Steady dinner round, but slowed for the late round. NFL @ Trees wasn't didn't see a lot of action this week, but the lack of NY teams in the playoffs probably had a bit to do with it. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Jenna and Tevon had great opens and both left at about 3:30 after Jenna batched and Tevon helped all around. Lee and Ashley are mids. EL

I was able to get Ashley out early due to sales and because Lee wanted the hours. I had her stock Trees and do a little house keeping in the liquor storage before she left. Lee stayed behind and was great support for the bar for the last bit of rushes before he was cut. 

It was Andrea's first Sunday closing with the lobby frozen machines, but she was able to break them down, clean, and put them back together very quickly as expected. Sean was able to close Trees with ease and have the frozen machines done relatively early. It looks like he's starting to develop his time management skills. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Once again, reiterate that bar staff needs to either take a card for staff or close them out right away. EA

86ed / counts on items: Cold Brew, Pinto Grigio, Ocho Reposado, Stagg Jr., St. Agrestis Spritz, all 86'd

Prep List: Only had enough Rittenhouse to make 1/3 keg of old fashioned. Will need a full keg as soon as it comes in.  I made Horchata, We'll need a holy mountain made as soon as we can strain it tomorrow. EL

Other than that, we're pretty good to go tomorrow with what we have. If we get an order in tomorrow, we could use a Negroni keg. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
