Sunday: 1.1 Eliel and Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty meaty day today. Came into a pretty sold Avatar at 5 and we were pretty steady at Trees with tickets and bar guests all day until the last seating.  Brunch looks like it was on cruise control and the openers were already cut by the time I came through the doors at 430. 

Customer Comments: As mentioned above, good amount of guests at Trees today which kept everyone busy throughout their shifts. A lot of new faces visiting Nitehawk for the first time and happy to see a full lounge area to go along with the bar. It felt a lot more warm and full today. Great way to start the year. 

BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was in great spirits today! I didn't get a chance to see Tevon or Natasha today, but Eliel told me it was was a stellar opening. Though confessing that she was a little tuckered out today, Ashley was great about doing the restocks and backing up the cheater bottles for Trees. We got her out a bit early since Ian was in and more than willing to come up to Trees. Ian and Lee worked and communicated well today to get through all the rushes and the walk ins that came to hang out at Trees. 

Jenna held it down in the lobby and was great about timing her cleanup and as always cleaned the frozens without any trouble. Lee also managed his time tonight very well and was always on top of guests and tickets. 

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Staff email notes: Continue to remind bartenders to break down boxes in the walk in as they stock so there aren't a bunch of empties or near empties sitting around in there.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
