Saturday 01.14 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication: Pretty busy second half of the day. Pretty much everything from 2:30 onward sold out, if not pretty darn close too. The weather was super windy and cold, but that didn't deter guests from coming in and staying at Trees in between rounds. Very healthy turn out of guests at Trees to get an initial round or two before going into the theaters. 

Jean St. Jean was no where to be found between the hours of 7pm and 10pm. Several areas of the building required checking in and ultimately the bathrooms were either a mess or produced slipping hazards. I tried to keep the Trees bathrooms as clean as possible, but I could only do so much to mediate the problem when we had masses of drinks on the service bar. EA

I didn't get the chance the chance to do this today, but we should have all the playoff games screening on the projector at Trees. The first game is 1pm, is there a way we could send an instagram post for Trees Lounge? I figure this would keep a lot guests entertained, or at least have them stay after their movie to watch the game. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Andrea opened today and were pretty much done and gone by the time I came in, but they seemed to have strong opens and were able to run their bars until the Mids got in. Chelsea and Tevon were instrumental in keeping us going tonight, especially at Trees when we swung Chelsea up several times to help supplement service. Team morale was a little fuzzy at first glassware was consistently low, but after going over with the bar that pretty much every theater was selling out, that we were going to get them in waves. 

After that it was a solid 3 hours of tickets as M3gan continues to be a "drinking" movie. Once the mids were cleared to go, Lee ran the lobby until 11, and Gabrielle and Ian closed out Trees. It was a pretty busy night, but the team came together. EA

FOH Staff Observations: Despite several tight turns, FOH was really good about supporting each other. Glassware was pretty tight upstairs all night, but after I asked them to keep an eye out, they were better at bringing it down asap. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: A bag of Tonic was hooked up on the Root Beer line at Trees when we opened this morning. Andrea caught it on the first order because of the color difference, so we didn’t send out any incorrect drinks. JH

Going to reiterate that all cocktails need to be measured. Saw a couple cocktails free poured today. I spoke to the bartender, but it'll be good to send it out as an overall message again. EA

I talked to Dodge about this, but we settled with no more Natalies juice bottles at the bar, right? Found some lemon and lime juices at the lobby bar and everyone was under the assumption that we're still using them down there. Let's talk Tuesday. EA

Prep List: Looks like we'll need Firewalk, Lemonade, Holy Mountain, and some cheater bottles made if time permits. EA

Maintenance: The coffee machine at Lobby was leaking intermittently last night, but there were no further issues with it this morning after the first urn of coffee was brewed. JH

The big ice scoop holder was accidentally yanked out of the wall when the ice bucket fell off its hinge. It was already on its last legs, but the wall will need to be filled in and new screws will need to be applied. Adding to the maintenance doc
