Monday 12.26 Jenn/Edgar
Manager Communication: Service was nicely paced, and we only ever felt a crunch at Trees when we had really close seatings of Puss in Boots in Th2 and Avatar in Th1, but nothing that disrupted service. Theaters filled up across all three floors at different times. JH
We had a good amount of last minute walk ins that kept the staff moving. There was a bit of movement in Trees when some films let out as well. EA
BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Lee were able to handle both bars solo for the opening round. We did have some technical issues with some equipment at Lobby before doors were opened, which I will go into more detail on below in Maintenance. Jenna was a large help as mid, and was able to keep both bars stocked and covered throughout service. JH
All good on the closing side. Gabrielle and Natasha handled the rest of service smoothly while still being able to restock and organize. EA
Staff Meeting Agenda: We need to set a time to demo a breakdown and rebuild on the frozen machine where all staff will be there. Let's set a time after the holidays. EA
Maintenance: It appears that last night Sean put the frozen machine back together incorrectly after cleaning them. When Lee went to fill the middle hopper, it immediately began to leak out, so Lee tried to empty it back into a cambro. Unfortunately, he pulled on the handle a bit too hard and it completely came off. Side note, we absolutely cannot find the black handle piece that broke. Several people have turned Lobby upside down looking for the pieces, and we just cannot find them. Edgar can elaborate on the broken/missing pieces below.

I had him empty the product he had put into the machine, as none of the hoppers appeared to be operational, and he recleaned the parts. Once Jenna came in, she was able to put together the frozen machine like an absolute pro (she usually closes on Sundays in Lobby, so has dealt with this machine a lot more than other bartenders). Currently, two of the hoppers are operational (Fire Walk With Me & Strawberry Lemon Slushie), and all Holy Mountains are being served from Trees.
Additionally, as part of the pre-open Lobby maintenance mash, the coffee maker/hot water heater had an Error Message saying that it had taken too long to refill and, as a result, was only putting out cold water. We just ran coffee service from Trees. Edgar was able to reset it once he came in. JH
Hi hello, these are the pieces we need to fix the broken pieces for the frozen machine.
Elmeco #2 Ring Nut Lever Cover Piston $73.67

Elmeco #3 Black Handle and Cover Complete $77.34

I think the main issue with the accident today is that the handle was in the lock position when Lee tried to quickly empty the hopper before losing more product. It was just an unfortunate set of circumstances and bad luck.
The replacement part will have a metal component that will provide a sturdier hold. The part that came with the machine was all plastic and as a result can withstand less pressure.
Adding to what Jenn said, I'm not completely sure the handle piece itself is broken, but since we cannot find it AT ALL, it will need to replaced nonetheless. Let me know if I should proceed. EA
