Manager Communication: Quiet start to the day throughout the building. JH

Evening was just as quiet, although we had a some people curl up at trees to evade the cold weather. 

Every time those doors open in the lobby it feels like we're getting hit by the arctic tundra. Do we have a vestibule or those big velvet curtains some bars have sometime to keep the cold air out as much as possible? EA

BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Ian were both able to get out of here after mids came in, and Chelsea was able to set us up with some batching. JH

Sean completed his Sexual Harassment Training today in the office. I adjusted his timecard to add one hour of training. EA

It was pretty snoozy at both bars, so I cut Sean and Gabrielle when Lee and Ashley were settled in a stocked up. EA

Hiring/Training: Sean Nishi completed his sexual harassment on ADP - EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Maybe a reminder in this week's bar email about carefully reading labels on soda syrup boxes before hooking them up.  I found a Tonic hooked up on the Ginger Ale line at Lobby while doing inventor.  It was basically still full, so I don't believe it was in service for long.  JH

Prep List: Not much to do tomorrow, we're pretty stocked! Just need a backup of fresh juice and one 12qt of lemonade. 

Lost & Found?: A guest named Beverly called in to say that she thinks she may have left her glasses behind on the table in Th2 after watching Avatar last night.  They have burgundy frames and were in a black case that has been chewed up by a dog.  There was nothing in the Blog about it and I didn't see anything matching that description in the office, so I told her we would get back to her if they turned up.  Her number is 917-586-2816. Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor tomorrow. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
