Manager Communication: Another beautiful day in the neighborhood with the same vibes as yesterday. 

I had Matthew Soler fill in the new wage form and sign the bartender description. Both were put in his file.

Customer Comments:

BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea was out sick again, so I opened the Lobby again. I was able to have Tevon come in earlier at 3pm to take over until Andrea came in to close lobby. Ashley and Matthew opened Trees. 

Matthew is on training day 1 with Ashley. He seemed to be very receptive and observant to what Ashley was teaching. A little shaky with a jigger, but the knowledge is there. Eliel will have more information later on tonight. EA

There was a lot of hustling. Tevon swung to Trees and Ashley batched with Matthew. Andrea held down Lobby. After batching Ashley and Matthew stayed through the Spoons pop and the unexpected after Banshee + Aftersun pop. Nice flow, People filled in from those films right as Spoons loaded in. EL

Hiring/Training: Matthew Soler Day 1 Bar. Matthew was great help during the bar pops, hustling and always doing something helpful and productive. Great customer facing service. Before leaving Matthew did a successful stock.  Ashley was a great trainer and said Matthew needed to beef up on general cocktails and barware handling, but besides that all looked great for Day 1. I'm excited to have Matthew on the bar team. EL 

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Chelsea Davis was out sick today. Her hours were added to the sick calendar. EA

Special Events? Spoons, Toons, and Booze. Great Show, great Trees crowd. 

86ed / counts on items: Low on Gold Sanding Sugar. 86 Barrier Pumpkin, Grimm Weisse 86 and Test IPA is on a count. 

Prep List: looking great going into the weekend. Might need Practical syrup soon but nothing urgent. 

Pay Outs: $20 tablecloth for DJ, $16 cereal, then two FOH payouts that are on the main blog. 

Maintenance: The base for one of the water stations is cracked and in need of Superglue

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
