Manager Communication: Pretty good busy afternoon which kept ramping up. EL

Dinner rounds were busy on all floors, with the big theaters selling well throughout the evening. JH

BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon opened lobby and Natasha opened Trees. They did a great job. Matthew was a great mid at Trees and Ashley took to the batch upon arrival. Tevon juiced at Lobby to keep us fresh!

Once closers arrived, I was able to cut both openers, keeping Matthew toggling betwen both bars during the dinner rounds, based on service needs.  It was a very busy dinner service, with theaters on all floors selling well, and all bartenders were great about keeping up with service needs.  

Once we got through dinner, Matthew covered Lobby for Jenna to get a pre-close restock in, and then he was good to go.  Ashley stayed through the last theater seatings, and got out of here shortly after Matthew.  Both Jenna and Lee closed each bar without issue, and had a pretty mellow last round of service. JH

FOH Staff Observations: I mentioned this to both Sarah and Nathaniel as they drafted the service notes email, but I would like servers to get out of the habit of reaching over the service pass and using the soda gun to serve themselves during service.  It was a habit that developed during our slower periods, and I'm seeing servers reach for the gun when the service pass is busy, which can be disruptive, as well as a recipe for knocked over glassware. JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Miguel Scottsboro called out sick. EL

Paul added Miguel to the Sick Calendar. JH

86ed / counts on items: 86'd How's the Despair (Teelings) and Other Half. JH

Prep List: Infused Gin should be made once Harney & Sons arrives tomorrow. JH

Over/Short on Banks: Lobby Bar's checkout report had an additional $8.00 cash transaction reported that was separate from the cash sales from Lobby.  I read through the report, but could not find a way to track the extra cash reported.

The drop we ended up with coincided with the cash transactions for the day, minus the pay out.  But, due to the mystery transaction on the checkout report, it looks like we are just about $8.00 short. JH 

Pay Outs: $37.50 for cab taking tots to Williamsburg. EL

Lost & Found?: Malissa Osei left their card behind at Trees Lounge.  Their check was run with autograt, and the card is labeled and in the Lost Credit Card Box in the MOD Office. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor, Big Geyser, Harney & Sons, and US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: The lowboy door at Trees under the Holy Mountain frozen machine appears to have fallen off the top slide rail.  The two other doors run on the track fine, and the door is still usable but very unwieldy.  Added to the Maintenance Doc. JH

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
