Manager Communication: Another beautiful "fall" day. Looked like a slower start to the day, but progressively got busier during the dinner and late rounds. EA

Lee has agreed to do an open/close shift on Monday. Freeing up Darius to cover at Williamsburg. EA

Checked off and went over day 2 of bar training packet for Matthew Soler. 


BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Matthew opened up lobby for brunch today and Matthew complete his day 2 training for the bar. So far all the trainers have had mostly positive things to say, but also were very honest about their constructive criticisms that Matthew seemed very receptive to. We revisited bar specific bar pos training and went over the differences on labeling checks. EA

Tevon was cut for the day and Chelsea helped hold Lobby and trees through the rushes. 

Sean had a shaky start to the day with a few errors, but was quickly able to get into the groove. It's just about adjusting to the lay of the land and the service flow. It's hard to grasp that with a few training shifts, but it'll get there. Lee closed out the day at Trees and Gabrielle took care of the lobby. Solid day. EA

Hiring/Training: Matthew Soler day 2. Opened lobby with Natasha and learned the nuances of juggling guests at filmbot and pinging to the other side to make drink tickets/get guest their orders. EA 

Special Events? Mike Demmel - Mezzanine 15 people. Rung everything for the event under Trees Private. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Need to make sure the juices aren't spoiled in the lobby. When I went to support, several juices has turned and were not fit for use in service. EA

Prep List: Firewalk, Holy Mountain, Practical Magic, Michelada. 

Darius has shown interest in getting more involved in batching. Maybe we can leave this for him to do under Ashley's or my supervision? EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
