Manager Communication: Another gorgeous day outside. Came in to a sleepy first round, but the dinner round picked up well into the late round. Strong presence in trees for the majority of the day. 

I was able to get that Gorilla Glue in and started to mend the base of the water dispenser. I put a another pass of glue on it tonight and left it in bar prep to dry for the morning. EA 

BAR Staff Observations: Ian and Chelsea did a great job starting us off tonight. After the closers were in I was able to get them in the back between round to restock and do a bit of prep. Once the last major rushes were done, they were good to go. Gabrielle, Lee, and Ashley closed out the night with ease. 

FOH Staff Observations: FOH was super helpful today regarding glassware. Whether it was bringing it down in a timely manner to trees or just running them through the wash automatically they were on it. Servers from 4/6 were great in supporting tray running into 1/2 while waiting for their drinks. EA 

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: All cocktails (Trees Lounge exclusives or Classics) must be measured. There is to be no free pouring ingredients unless its a one and one. I watched Lee make both an Aperol Spritz and a Martini today without properly measuring with a jigger. I pulled him aside and let him know that those are to be measured. Will reemphasize this with all staff at the meeting.  EA

Prep List: We need a new rose tomorrow for the Barry Lyndon. EA


Pay Outs: Gorilla Glue $8.70 - 8600

Maintenance: The base of the water dispenser may need another pass of the clear glue that's by it at bar prep. EA

Mobilebytes Issues: Can we get the Two Robbers Seltzer renamed to just Two Robbers? By popular demand by bar staff and servers, they'd like to see the name shortened on the ticket from Two Robbers  Mango Punch Hard Seltzer, down to something that's just a single line. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
