Wednesday 10.26 Edgar and Eliel



Manager Communication: Quiet start to the day and a mellow dinner round. The Faculty and Triangle of Sadness led the late round with both the shows being sold out. 

Lee was issued a written warning for his tardiness on Sunday. He completely understood and took responsibility for his action. He also understands to be more vigilant regarding his schedule. The written warning is filed into his folder. EA

Jenn, Eliel is leaving a quick note on the bubbler tanks after they're cleaned tonight to put the Practical Magic on the left side. Could you just make sure to touch base with the opener to make sure that happens so we can assess if its the hopper leaking or the cocktail causing it to stick open.

Grimm Weiss was shorted on the delivery today. Noted in the invoice.  EA

BAR Staff Observations: Chelsea and Darius opened the lobby and Trees today. Since there was quite a bit of downtime, they were able to fully stock and do a bunch of side work activities. EA

Chelsea batched and left shortly after. Darius worked Trees till the Faculty rush fizzled out. Lee and Gabrielle closed Trees and Lobby 

Special Events? The Faculty (TH4) Sold Out. EA

86ed / counts on items: I couldn't find any back up bev naps or where to order them via the guide. 

Maintenance: It was brought to my attention that the ice machine at Trees was struggling to create ice. I did a hard reset on it during dinner service and it seemed to remedy the problem. I'm having Eliel keep and eye on it and report if it goes down again. When it was down, it was throwing up Code 7 (Discharge Temp Sensor Failure) and Code 8 (Short Freeze - Thin Ice)  EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
