Thursday 10.13 Jenn/Eliel



Manager Communication: Pretty quiet first round, but things definitely kicked off during dinner, with the Brooklyn Horror screening bringing a welcome crowd to Trees. JH

It was a very good busy evening. Trees lounge was bumping. 

Customer Comments:  I answered a call at lobby and helped a guest find wheel chair accessible seat in theater two for BK Horror, which was already pretty full and GA for that show. I was able to get a couple to move, and I got them a round, then I was successfully able to seat the WC guest. 

While that was happening, a guest that seemed fine at Trees a little earlier was just about passed out drunk at Trees. She was only served a beer and two shots at Trees, and later I found out she had a few rounds in a theater earlier, but when I got to Trees she was already being taken care of by Nathaniel, and later Sarah (runner) who both were friends of hers, and Sarah ended up taking the guest to their house. BAR Staff Observations: Really great opens from both Ashley and Chelsea, with both focusing on prepping both bars for the rest of the evening. JH

Ashley stayed until everyone had a drink in their hands and the Party was under control. Andrea Lee and Tevon all had great closes. It was a very good night. 

FOH Staff Observations: Brendan and Reakwon were great help when I had to move guests for the Wheel Chair guest. 

Special Events? Brooklyn Horror had a great screening and party at Trees lounge afterwards. They were all a blast!  Georgina Campbell star of Barbarian was at the party. I introduced her to Alex, who showed her, his Barbarian Artwork and she loved it. It was a pretty cool moment.

Prep List: We'll need Practical Syrup tomorrow. 

Pay Outs: $24 cab for Sarah. 

Lost & Found?: Found a couple of phones which made it back to their owners today.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
