Manager Communication: Save for the NewFest screenings, it was a relatively laidback brunch service today.  NewFest definitely brought a great crowd to Trees during the DJ set once the screenings let out. JH

Evening was very smooth with a solid dinner round in the smaller theaters and a decent sold round in the bigger ones. Last round was very mellow otherwise. EA 

BAR Staff Observations: Really great opens from Chelsea and Dylan this morning, with each of them keeping up with busy mornings at both bars.  Once Gabrielle got in, I was able to get Chelsea and Dylan breaks, and then Chelsea got out of here after getting us caught up on batching. JH

Tevon and Gabrielle held it down for the mids and were cut when it slowed down enough for Lobby to run solo and for Trees to run with Miguel and Ian. 

The close was easy, breezy, covergirl. EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: During afternoon service, there were a few occasions where kitchen was unresponsive to manager calls checking in on delayed or missing Trees tickets.  In those instances a floor manager would head to kitchen while the bar manager remained at Trees to communicate with the guest.  As mentioned above, service was mellow during the day, so it wasn't too disruptive, but could certainly become an issue in busier moments.

Additionally, we had an order of tots that never made it to the guest at Trees, as the runner did not have the ticket them, and misremembered the seat number, causing staff to look for a seat number that had not been assigned to a guest.  About ten minutes later, the guest alerted a bartender that they had been waiting thirty minutes for tots, so we refired the ticket and it made its way up shortly thereafter. JH

While we're still getting a feel for the new frozen machine, a few things I noticed today is that it holds more volume, but also that it needs a minimum volume to prevent it from over freezing. I moved all the levels down to 5 while in slush mode, but bar staff needs to make sure to keep them full so that they down become difficult to pour out. I'll work with the staff throughout the week and make sure I mentioned it in the weekly email. 

Nathaniel showed me a new way to send Rush tickets for the bar today and I confirmed it with the kitchen. 

This may have been discussed already but the way to do it would be:

    Food Item

        ->Course

            ->Rush

Obviously, we continue to label with the seat number as usual, but this will help it jump to the front on the KDS.

This could be something that helps prioritize Trees food so it doesn't get lost in the queue. Let me know if it's something the kitchen is ok with us doing. EA

Found an empty bottle of Ichabod Crane and Barry Lyndon cheaters at Trees today while walking through at the end of the night that should get replenished. EA
