Saturday 10.01 Jenn/Edgar



Manager Communication: Daytime business was definitely led by a lot of rainy day walk ins, which kept all floors busy from when we opened doors.  Willy Wonka sold great, and flew through Lemonades and Strawberry Lemon slushies, so make sure to stock Trees with a ton of both for it tomorrow. JH

(Eliel, we were crushed nonstop so I had some lemonade and strawberry lemonade made to at least start, but we might need more). 

Crazy busy dinner with a lot of traffic at Trees so between that and the strong dinner sales for 1/2/4/6, it felt nonstop. Woman King pretty much sold out for three rounds and Bros did incredibly well today. 

The wedding reception had a blast at Trees/Mezzanine. It ended up being closer to 70 than the initial 40, but moved people around accordingly. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Really great opens, service, and communication between everyone today at both bars. JH

Dinner Staff crushed it. Both Tevon and Chelsea were in for mids, but after the closers got in, I moved Chelsea out to go batch and then moved her to trees to assist for the private event. 

Gabrielle held down the lobby with the help of Dwight handling tickets, but even then it was pretty busy. 

After a brief pre-shift meeting with Chenelle and the bar staff, I handed them specific stations to work tonight and they didn't stop moving from the moment the party started, until it drew to a close. Chelsea and Tevon were gracious enough to stay a little extra to help taper us off. Despite being almost double the amount, the bar staff held it down and communicated constantly. EA 

FOH Staff Observations: Kaela and Monica were huge helps at Trees during the first round. JH

Lauren and Daniel were clutch tonight helping Trees stay afloat with glassware. They were there to run racks in between taking trays into the server stations. Major props to them for helping the service run as smoothly as possible. EA

Special Events? Anna Emig - Wedding Reception ~ 70 people EA

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Gabrielle brought up the idea of possibly getting a barback for the busier season. I just wanted to put that here so it doesn't fall through the cracks. EA

Prep List: Michelada, Firewalk, and maybe a bit more Strawberry Lemonade. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
