Manager Communication: Th1 special screenings really carried the evening, and kept Trees full of guests throughout the second and third rounds.  Banshees and Triangle continue to hold steady.

BAR Staff Observations: Eliel and Jenna were already open and ready for service at each bar by the time I got in.  Once Chelsea, Lee, and Sean arrived, Eliel did some batching and covered Chelsea and Jenna for a break before they got out of here a little before eight.  Jenna stuck around to get Trees through the Demons service push, a restock, and to give Lee a break.

Wanted to note that Jenna and Lee were really great at handling the busier service pushes at Trees tonight.  For Night of the Living Dead, I stepped into service bar for a minute so Jenna could bus tables and Lee could continue to focus on guests, so service never hit a hiccup.  Jenna was primarily service bar for the two later rounds, while Lee handled guest-facing service, and both were exceptional.

Hiring/Training: Sean completed Day 3 of training, closing Lobby with Chelsea.  She said he was great, that he's already very comfortable with the flow of service and is great with guests.  One thing she did note was that she did not get to walk him through as much Filmbot stuff as she would have liked, only because there was not a ton of walk in ticketing tonight.

I had her fill out the training sheet in the binder, which Ian and Gabrielle will need to add to for Sean's previous two days of training.  His last training shift is Wednesday, and I advised him to review the checklist in the training packet so that he could highlight any areas that he felt he could use further clarification on.

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: We had issues with family meal today.  It was delayed so was not up at Trees until about 5:45/5:50, at which point Trees already had a full crowd waiting to be let into Th1 and Lobby was pretty swamped with guests.  I did my best to offer bar coverage to expedite getting bar staff to family, but was unable to get Lee or myself a plate until the Th1 service push had already started, at which point only steak was left.  I'm unsure how many servers or runners may have been affected, but several passed by the table and commented they had missed family while I was working the service well at Trees.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Stumptown tomorrow.

Maintenance: Eliel noticed two small issues with the frozen machines at Lobby this afternoon when they were opening.  The first was that the machines were left on 'cold,' as opposed to 'standby.'  They said that since the lids were off, the machines were not in motion and did not seem to have been refrigerated overnight.  It appears that when the lids are removed, the machines automatically cease rotating the churners.

The second was that the horizontal churners were not pushed back into place properly.  This left only the vertical ones rotating, and caused the product to freeze improperly.  Once Eliel caught that, they emptied each hopper until they could see the horizontal churner, slotted it further into place, and then refilled all three once both churners were back in rotation.  Just something to keep an eye on during Sunday Lobby closes and Monday Lobby opens.
