Manager Communication: It was a a pretty mellow Monday from open to close behind the bar. Triangle of Sadness did well in the smaller theaters for both dinner and last round. While the showing of New Nightmare drew a decent crowd. EA

BAR Staff Observations: I text Jenna at 1:45 to see where she was, as she was scheduled to open Trees at 1:30.  She replied immediately and said that she had thought she was scheduled to close Trees.  Once she realized her mistake, she told me that she was, at minimum, two hours away, as she was driving back from Massachusetts and was in Connecticut.  

I let her know that I would just cut her from the day, and that we would talk about it when she was in next (Sunday, 10.30).  She was very apologetic and I do believe it was a genuine mistake on her part, and I believe that a written warning will suffice.  

I opened and worked Trees, with Darius coming in a little early (4:45) to take over Trees until Lee arrived. JH

Darius and Lee were able to tackle their stations with no big hiccups. I filled in the gaps wherever needed until it slowed down near the end. Last call was 1215 to wait and see if there was anyone from Black Adam that would come down. EA

FOH Staff Observations:

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jenna, as mentioned above in BAR Staff Observations, missed her shift due to misreading her schedule. JH

Special Events?  New Nightmare (TH1) 88 ppl

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Since we have had two days in a row with bartenders not accurately reading their schedules, let's put a reminder note in this week's bar email about the importance of being aware of in-times and shift assignments.  JH

86ed / counts on items: Brought the last bottle of Casamigos out to Trees. EA

Prep List: Just a reminder for myself tomorrow to pick up Lapsang Tea for the salt, Sesame oil for the orange whip, and to make a Barry Lyndon and Ichabod Crane cheater bottle.  EA

Pay Outs: $30.00 (Staff Outing at Ridgewood Asylum last night,10.23) & $3.00(Rose for garnish). JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Harney & Sons (boxes of tea and chai concentrate) arriving tomorrow. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
