Monday 10.03 Jenn/Edgar



Manager Communication: Pretty mellow start, bar was opened and functional with ease. The rain gave us a slow start, but we were busy during dinner for the No Budge event and a fairly decent late round in theater 1. All and all a decent Monday. EA

BAR Staff Observations: Great day today with a tight bar staff. Jenna took care of the Lobby with ease and Lee alongside Natasha ran Trees. Lee stayed a bit longer to help us with the No Budge  crowd that basically stayed until last call. 

Special Events? No budge sold out. 

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: I meant to mention this over the weekend, but on Saturday we had servers take rollies from Trees during busy pushes in service.  This left us down a rollie twice, and caused a slight back up in glassware at Trees because we did not have an available rollie for dirty glassracks during a flip.

I do not know if we want to add another sign to the Trees Lounge glasswasher corridor, or if we could just reiterate to servers to not take rollies from either bar without asking if it is okay. JH

Can we coordinate with Runners to pick up number tags when food is delivered? EA

Lost & Found?:

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Brooklyn Best Peach Tea arrived before open, and were restocked at both bars.  
Big Geyser, St. Agrestis (remainder of the order from last week), and Stumptown tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: The HVAC panel nearest to the Soda Closet in Lobby is blank, but the other Lobby and Th7's panel were unaffected.  It did not overly impact the temperature in Lobby, as the other panel was able to heat the space relatively well. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
