Monday 9.12 Edgar



Manager Communication: Jenn was out due to a personal issue, but it was just fine since it was a particularly slow day today. 


BAR Staff Observations: Lee and Jenna opened Lobby and Trees and had a pretty slow open so they stuck to cleaning duties. Darius was good to takeover after I had Jenna stock up a bit and fill the sugar/tea caddies. 

The Trees close was a little bit subpar last night. There were a few odds and ends that were not taken care off by Miguel:

-The Dishwasher wasn't broken down
-The Lapsang Salt dish was left out with a lemon wedge.
-There was can of open ginger beer
-The coffee urn wasn't cleaned out. 

I will be following up with him the next time I see him to make sure we iron out these details. Otherwise, the bar was clean.  

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jenn Hickey. Her hours were already added to the sick pay calendar.

Special Events? House of 1000 corpses - 45 tickets sold.

Prep List: Espresso Martini? We're still straddling what feels like a decent amount in the keg. Maybe just a 1/4 keg? Will recheck tomorrow. 


Maintenance: Both the nozzles on the soda guns downstairs are cracked and keep falling off. I didn't see any in the spare parts bin in bar storage. Do we call Coke for these repairs?

I also couldn't find any extra brushes for the beer tower in the storage room. I think we need to order some, but wanted to check with an extra set of eyes in case I missed them somewhere.

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
