Tuesday 8.16 Edgar/ Jenn



Manager Communication: Pretty mellow day in the theaters, with dinner round doing fairly well, along with Th3/5 in the last round.  Trivia was very well attended and everyone had a blast, with lots of new faces in the crowd tonight. JH

BAR Staff Observations: Ashley, Darius, and Tevon absolutely crushed Trivia service tonight.  Darius took the floor, while Ashley and Tevon held down the bar throughout.  Once Trivia wrapped up, and the floor was reset, both Ashley and Darius were able to get out of here.

Miguel was also a rockstar tonight, coming in a little after six to cover Jenna's Lobby Close shift on the fly.  He handled service without issue, and did a great job closing.  JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jenna Brewer was out sick today. Her hours were added to the sick calendar. EA

Special Events: We definitely need new, more visible, table markers, especially for nights as busy as Trivia can get.  Additionally, we can work on the wording, but consensus among bar staff is that we should enforce that all guests seated at a table during Trivia must order from the bartender working the floor.  

There was a lot of confusion and backup with runners being unable to find table numbers because they were out of sequence, or sometimes even covered, by new table markers brought to the table.  Luckily, all orders were brought out and delivered without issue once the people were found, but more visible table markers and enforcing some floor policies would go a long way in eliminating any future service back ups.  JH

Prep List: Fire Walk With Me, Mr. Fusion, Neon Demon, and Strawberry Gin should be made tomorrow. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
