Tuesday 8.09 Edgar/Jenn

Manager Communication: We were able to get some R&D work done and had some initial tastings. I think we have some solid contenders for some unique fall drinks. EA

Definitely had some decent service pushes during the second round, but the last round was definitely more mellow. JH

Customer Comments: Had a guy come in to Lobby around eleven and ask Jenna where he could buy tickets.  She informed him that our box office was closed for the day and that he could purchase them online, or come back tomorrow.  He seemed to accept that answer and walked away.  When Jenna finished closing and went upstairs to Trees, he was still in the Lobby and tried to make conversation with Jenna, implying he was interested in her.  She just ignored him and took the staff staircase upstairs.  

He popped into Trees for a moment, but quickly left.  While Jenna was telling Lee what happened, two women came up to the bar.  Lee asked if they needed anything, and they said no, but that they were just requesting and waiting for a car at the upstairs bar.  After a moment, they told Lee that they had been verbally harassed by the same guy Jenna had just dealt with.  

Jenna and Lee related the story to me, and I went down to Lobby, but he was already gone.  I told Jason and Jeannette what had happened, and we proceeded to check in with servers still in theaters and do a quick sweep of the building to make sure he was no longer on the premises.  I did lock doors a few minutes early, just to make sure that he would not be back this evening.  JH

BAR Staff Observations: Super smooth open. Tevon and Ashley were on top of getting set up and going. Not much else to say other than it was a quiet afternoon. EA

Tevon was able to get out of here once the second round had completely sat and Lobby had been restocked, and Ashley got out around 9:30, after getting a decent amount of batching done.  Jenna was routed by 10:30, and both she and Lee coasted into relatively easy closes.  JH

Special Events? The private screening in the last round of Th6 was pretty mellow, with a crowd of 17 and smooth service throughout. JH

86ed / counts on items: 86'd Casamara Alta and Ruby Hibiscus Water.  JH

Prep List: Haywood Ranch Water is on the Do Not Batch list, as it is coming off menu after Thursday.  We are stocked behind both bars and still have some in the walk in, but if we need any over the next two days, be sure to batch judiciously. JH

Maintenance: While closing Trees, the faucet on the sink next to the ice well under the beer taps by the service pass fell off.  Lee and I were able to reattach it, but it should probably be tightened.  Added to the Maintenance Doc.

I cleared out the space under the glasswasher at Trees, and Lee will put the glassracks in the sink overnight.  This will hopefully make it easier for porters to clean the space going forward. JH

Mobilebytes Issues: Jenna noticed that drinks rang in under Patio at Lobby Bar have tax added on to them.  Could we have that fixed, or is it in place due to an outdoor dining rule? JH
