Manager Communication: Fairly mellow evening, with The Mummy and Bodies Bodies Bodies selline fairly well.  The Mummy brought in a great crowd to Trees before the screening, and a smaller crowd once the film let out. Trees actually had a decent crowd all the way up until last call at midnight. JH

BAR Staff Observations: Eliel was able to get out of here after getting a bunch of syrups and batching done. midway through the second round.  Similarly, Ashley got out of here once service for The Mummy had slowed down, and Trees was restocked and set.  

Tevon and Lee closed both bars without issue, and were great at communicating any behind-the-bar needs via walkie once they were both solo.  Lee was really great with guests at Trees in the last hour or two of service, with several couples and groups staying for another round because Lee was happy to chat.  JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Cleaning projects are the name of the game during these slower weeks, so please touch base with bartenders about problem spots they see in any bar areas.  I'm going to revamp the cleaning task schedule in the next week, so please pass on any notes to me.  JH.

Prep List: Arbol Tequila, Seven Sorrows, and a Strawberry Mansion keg should be made tomorrow.  JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor & US Foods tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: Edgar was able to clean the filter on the Neon Demon/Strawberry Lemon Slushie frozen machine, and that appears to have solved the freezing issue we have been navigating recently.  Updating weekly/monthly/seasonal cleaning tasks so that it does not happen again in the future.  JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
